Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, previews Saturday’s Gosford meeting with horse racing tips and analysis for all nine races on the card. Good luck, punters!

Track Condition: Soft 7

Rail Position: True, entire circuit

OVERPASS just keeps improving every race start. Has raced away to win past two at this level. Getting up in the weights and not drawn well here but is fit, and strong.  Watch market but he appeals.

CORK HARBOUR won soundly when resuming last start after leading all the way. It was a maiden but the runner-up has since won in town. He’s a good horse this bloke and from this grate probably jumps and goes hard looking to cross them. Has strong claims.

ANAGAIN has raced twice and after winning easier race on debut made very impressive ground late when 2nd in a tougher race than this. That makes her a danger as she gets home hard. Big show.

FLAT HEAVEN made up enormous ground from last on the bend last start when 2nd. Now, the winner would win this by 6 lengths. And the race was a much stronger one. Comes in extremely well after the claim.

HENSCHEL is just a nice horse who puts in every start. Won easier race last start but you have to appreciate honest horses.

BLONDEAU resumes here but was showing good talent when last in work. Well in at the weights and trials have been sound.

It will be very interesting to see how KING’S CHAMP goes here. He has yet to win in five runs this time up but has run a few good races and last start was held up when 6th this grade in a Highway.  Has strong claims as he’s in quite well at the weights following the weight relief.

JAHBATH is improving and won a BM 58 last start at Tamworth by nearly 4 lengths. Significant to note that was a Heavy 8 and he gets similar here too. Will probably get back and charge late.

HIGHEST STANDARD ran home hard for 3rd last start and is now 5th up so looks nicely placed.

Expect a bold showing by MONTSERRAT here. He was too fresh and wilted late when resuming in a. strong Bm 72 over 1550m. Slower mid race tempo will be in his favour this time and around here he can lead all the way.

TECTONICUS is just a model of consistency. He is always up speed and is always fighting the race out. Drawn well so gives your money a big show.

FIFTEEN ARIA is 3rd up and has a powerhouse finish. On trial for a Qld Oaks start so needs to win this to get there. Can fly late when held up.  Big danger.

SO WICKED is talented and consistent. Is super fit and is an impressive last start winner leading throughout over 1900m this level suggesting she can sit on speed again and be right in this finish also.  Looks well placed.

SELICA is working towards a win and is well up to this grade. Led over 2400m and run down late losing by a long head in a Bm 72 over 2400m. Probably doesn’t lead this time but will be very handy all the way and is strong. Super fit and all the stars have aligned for this.

AVION FURY was luckless last start when hitting the line well and 5th to So Wicked. Extra 200m in his favour and should be fishing home. If he turns up to race, he can win.

SIGNORE FOX has the big weight but is the class of the field and he is 3rd up here. When resuming in a stronger race he was heavily backed and came with a powerful burst to win. Looks the one to beat.

EASY EDDIE should appreciate this. He has been running with the big dogs of late and been just behind the placegetters. Drops in class here, likes it wet and looms large. Big show.

ENCHANTED HEART is ready to pounce. Is 3rd up in this following a game win when resuming then well beaten while 2nd up syndrome last start. Should improve.  Super fit and rates highly.

YOUNG RASCAL on his day would win this comfortably. But has lost all form since switching trainers. Hasn’t raced for 8 months and trial recently was only average. Go on two things, the fact he was a star stayer a year ago and if the market likes him…get on.

ENTENTE was on pace but wilted like a tired horse this grade last start when 7th. Is a fast galloper normally at this journey and does boast good wet track stats. If he is at his best he can win. Sure to be handy all the way again.

POLLY GREY is the one to beat though. She loves the mud and she is super fit. Luckless when flashing late for 4th in fast time to Paths Of Glory this trip last start, and finished ahead of Entente.  Big show.

This is as far as NIMALEE likes to go but she is better than these. If allowed to be on pace without being butchered by something serving it up to her, she should kick clear and win comfortably.

Former French star ARAPAHO has had one start in Australia and it was a solid 6th over 1400m in similar class. His best form is at this journey and he has great wet track stats. No weight here so is worth having in your numbers.

I SAY HELLO is up in grade but her form has been outstanding, she is very fit and she is in here with no weight. Gets home very hard and should be in the finish.

It will be very interesting to see how this beautifully b red rising star APRIL RAIN goes here. Last campaign she rose from maiden grade to win three straight and stamp herself as a thing of beauty. This is hard and she has a lot of weight but has had two trials.

WILLOWHEART normally likes to lead but came out sluggishly last start and was near last to the bend when second up. Was beaten 2 lengths. Is 3rd up now and has won on a heavy track.

STELLAR PAULINE might surprise. If she is allowed to drop out she might just swamp these. Her latest run was a good 5th in a Gr 3 race this trip at $101. This is easier.
