Wentworth Park R3 – Grade 5 520m
AKII PRINCESS (1) finished well back last start when having no luck from box 7, but was a back-to-back Wenty winner from box 1 at his two previous starts. Drawn to lead tonight she can bounce back onto the winners’ list. FAST REASON (4) was a best-of-the-night Bulli winner last start and has carved out good time over the 520m here in the past. The pair can space their rivals.

The Meadows R7 – Grade 5 525m
CHEEKY WINK (7) has shown a liking for this distance in the early stages of his career and looks value. She should be able to find a good spot in the run early on before powering home. KRYSTAL BALE (1) has drawn to lead for a long way and will give her backers a good sight.

Cannington R5 – Perth Cup Heat 2 520m
FERNANDO MICK (2) won the Group 1 Australia Cup last start and is a proven chaser on all tracks and under all conditions. A brilliant beginner and well-drawn he looks too good for his rivals tonight. He jumps, leads and wins! FORGE MONELLI (3) has been racing well at Mandurah in recent weeks and has the early speed to sit close to the favourite in the early part of the race. He can hold on for the quinella spot.
