Kia Ora C&G 2YO Mdn

Warwick Farm race 1 (1200m) 12:50 pm

Lots of chatter around concerning some unraced ones here. especially the Coolmore owned St Gotthard but after watching the trials I’m not convinced he’s really good. Down the bottom of the weights PEYTON has had 2 starts and run well even placing in one. So that to me represents better value because you know you are backing a handy customer this grade.

Hyland Colours 2YO Fillies Mdn

Warwick farm race 2 (1200m) 1:25 pm

Tough race to read so I think it’s best to stick with the small amount of seen form to date. And the best of them has to be BANGKOK HOTTIE for trainer david Payne. She comes into this after running on into 5th in a stakes race. Should be better for the run, is fit, and this is an easier affair. I’ll quinella with the $126 chance Dynamic Diva, who is ready to fire.

Schweppes 3YO Super Mdn

Warwick Farm race 3 (1600m) 2:00 pm

I can just see how this will play out. Hippo Hyeronimus will send ABOVE THE LAW to the front from gate rise. The pace will be slowed from there until the 600m where Adam will accelerate noticeably and get the chasers off the bit. He’ll swing for home 2 off the fence and sustain the gallop holding out the fast finishing Love ‘N’ Glory. It’s like stealing money.

Warwick Farm Race 4 (2400m) 2:35 pm

I was on KNIGHTS ARMOUR last start at $26 each way. After settling a mile behind the speed, he made good ground late in a a very similar race to finish 4th. That day Stylebender, up on speed, won the race and was 3.6lengths ahead. This time my boy meets the winner 2.5kg better and is sure to race closer so I’ll give him another chance. Quinella them.

Sandown race 6 (1000m) 3:55 pm

Good race. I suspect Magnabelle Royale, who is unbeaten in 3 race starts, charges to the lead and runs them along. But Craig Williams on TRES MAGNIFIQUE will park behind her, smoke his pipe and come home hard. Scored last start in very fast time in a weaker race and is fitter now.
