Kensington Race 2 (1550m) 2:55 am

I suspect the jocks make the decision on who wins this the easiest. For instance, Jay Mac is the top rider for the Chris Waller stable. Waller has 3 runners and he is not on any of them. Instead, he takes the sit on the Ciaron Maher filly CALANCHE who has placed at this level at her only two runs. Looks fitter and ready to fire up now. So let’s have her on top from FAKHRA.

I know RAVERNCLAW beat SIDE SHOW home last start when they both clashed at this grade. But I’m tipping the latter turns the table this time around. Ravenclaw led and fought on well while Side Show was back last and had to weave between runners and there was a head between them at the finish. This race is 100m longer too. Quinella.

Kensington Race 5 (1800m) 4:40 am

For some strange reason punters tend to steer clear of horses with multiple winning form. It may happen here too with OAKFIELD WALLABY who has won 5 of his past 6 starts, latest this grade in town. Does rise 3kg for that win but is fitter now and I just think he keeps on winning.

All these ‘Legend’ horses just keep winning city races and despite being first up I think SMART LEGEND can land the chocolates here. Does have a great fresh record and did win a trial impressively recently. Looks to settle off the speed then ciome down the outside with a barnstorming finish. Has been heavily backed overnight.

Sandown Race 4 (2100m) 5:25 am

Odds on fav here in TYCOON BEC but I’m steering away because the money coming in overnight for PEARL RAIN has been pretty compelling. She can stay all day and is 3rd up here. Last start was beaten 5 lengths when fair 7th over 1800m a Sandown. Blew like a gale in the market. Not blowing this time.
