JIMMY THE BEAR

Flemington - Winter Championship (1600) 4:10 pm

On a tough program at Flemington, am going to have a few dollars each way on JIMMY THE BEAR in the Winter Championship Final. The combination of Egan/Payne has been on fire over recent times and this four-year-old gelding has been extremely consistent without winning this time in. He should prove one of the hardest to beat today in a very open affair.

LUNACIES

Sunshine Coast - Caloundra Cup (2400m) 3:23 pm

LUNACIES got the job done nicely last week after getting beaten by the classy Without A Fight in his previous 2 starts. Although he goes up 4.5kgs from that last run, he is a true stayer and if he can get a nice trip in behind the speed, Andrew Mallyon can wind him up and should prove the hardest to get by.

STROLL

Sunshine Coast - Winx Guineas (1600m) 4:02 pm

Going for some value here in STROLL. Hasn’t been far behind them in her two runs this campaign and should be rock hard fit third-up for this assignment. Last season she had a win against Chinny Boom and started favorite in the Group 3 Vo Rogue Plate, so possesses plenty of ability. One at good odds for an each way play.

MUNHAMEK

Sunshine Coast - Glasshouse Handicap (1400m) 4:45 pm

Looking for MUNHAMEK to get back into the winners stall today. Chased home the impressive Antino last time after being held up at the corner but the star on the rise was off and gone. Only needs an ounce of luck in the run on the wide open spaces of the Sunshine Coast circuit and could be the one getting over them late.

CATEGORY THREE

Belmont - Crown Perth Handicap (1200m) 4:53 pm

Willy Pike is riding CATEGORY THREE in the last and he looks extremely hard to beat to finish off the day for us. A last start winner over track/distance was given a gem by Pikey to get there at the wire. From the low draw will get every chance to put 2 together on the trot.
