MEMSIE STAKES

CAULFIELD R9 (1400m) 4:50 pm

The Memsie Stakes should be a ripper a Group 1 with so many stars running. Going to stick with MR BRIGHTSIDE who won as he pleased first-up and he is the one with the fitness on his side. Should be able to track up behind the speed and look the winner at some point in the run home.

MCNEIL STAKES

CAULFIELD 5 (1200m) 2:20 pm

LITTLE BROSE was good last time out behind Cylinder in the Vain Stakes. He sat just off them and although had every chance, he held on well and was going as well as the placegetters on the line. Although drawn off the track, hopefully can get cover and with fitness on his side this time, we could see him getting the cash.

COCKRAM STAKES

CAULFIELD R7 (1200m) 3:35 pm

Definitely having something each way on ESPIONA here. Have liked both her trials to date when she was never asked to do much behind Nature Strip in them. She looks ready and generally performs well fresh. Can see her winding up and running over them here.

JOLLY BEGGAR STAKES

BELMONT PARK R8 (1000m) 4:25 pm

Got to stick with one of my favorites here in BABY PARIS. First up since winning The Joey back in April, she trialed the house down at Belmont earlier in the week and looks primed for a first up win.

3YO FILLIES HANDICAP

EAGLE FARM R5 (1000m) 2:13 pm

MISS COOTA looks the one here in this three-years-old fillies event. She proved too good for them first-up over 1000m here three weeks back and drops 2kgs off that effort after the claim. Undefeated track/distance, so everything points to her being able to repeat that performance.
