Drinkwise 2YO Fillies

Kensington Race 1 (1100m) 12:50 pm

A Gai and Adrian filly resuming from a spell after failing first prep. But, the stable must rate this one called ALINEA  as she was tossed in the deep end in her 2 starts to date and wasn’t all that far away from Manaal, who is a bonafide Gr 1 horse. Should find this considerably easier and I wouldn’t be surprised if she led them.

Castelvecchio 2YO Males

1100m (1100m) 1:25 pm

Just where does Jay Mac get to on this Godolphin 2YO GRAM? Awkward draw but if he finds cover he should round these up and kick away. DAWN SERVICE and IMPOSING PIER are yet to race but come from powerful stables and bring outstanding trial form to this race, but I suspect Gram might be a fair bit better than midweek grade.

Kensington Race 4 (1100m) 2:35 pm

No better horseman in the land than Nash rawiller when on a front-runner and he gets one here. He rides OCEANS ONE who should scoot out of the gates, find the front and then Nash takes over. He keeps ’em going and this bloke will be super fit now being 4th up. Wins from his stablemate VEGAS RAIDER. Quinella them.

Astern BM 72

Kensington Race 6 (1400m) 3:45 pm

I really like the look of LITTLE COINTREAU’s chances in this. Comes back a fair bit in grade and Nash on to offset the big weight. Is most consistent and will relish a fast pace as he will rocket home down the fast lane. Looks to me a good thing, although there has been a lot of money overnight for the Godolphin galloper NANSHE, who has talent. But, on past efforts, can’t run as fast this trip as Little Cointreau.

Sandown Race 7 (1200m) 3:55 pm

I love an in form front runner and we get one here in LAYERUPONLAYER. He led and was run down on the wire this grade last start in Adelaide over 1300m. Back 100m in trip here and conditions to suit. Just jumps and runs like he always does.
