Solid juvenile race to end the racing year. I think SAPPHIRE ROSE may be the most forward. She’s raced twice for a Wyong win when showing good pace from barrier rise then up in grade to midweek level and she got back to midfield before finishing hard for 2nd over 1100m. Experience gained is a great thing and her fitness must be even better now so I see her flying home to win from Issy’s Star who should be in the firing line all the way.

I really like this Chris Waller filly KILONOVA. She won a maiden on debut finishing hard and racing like she’s done this all before. She was spelled and resumes here after 2 trials. Market has her at $5.00 and I think she should $2.90. I’m getting on.

ELLE HUDSON I probably better known as a stayer but the way he grabbed the bit late and charged home for third in a better class of race last start when resuming suggests he might be back better than ever. Big weight here but 200m more trip helps and he should be running on hard. Gets home in time I think from Jacob’s Time who is in well at the weights.

CASSIEL is on the rise and seems to be getting better with racing. Two starts this campaign have resulted in two very comfortable wins in BM 64 grade. Up in class here but is flying and is even fitter now. Can be on speed too which is an advantage and wins this I reckon from Vegas Raider.

Gotta love a stayer who is 3rd up at a trip that suits. We find one here in ZAMBEZI KHAN. She’s a good enough midweek stayer who was only 3 lengths away last start. Will be suited by this trip. Empress Of The Sun is good and goinbg for 3 in a row here but is up in grade. Quinella them.
