Open Mdn C&G

Kensington Race 1 (1150m) 12:55 pm

When stable whispers are this strong you simply have to follow them. And, in this instance, Peter Snowden’s 2YO ZOURRIFIC is the one. Recently won 2 trials on the trot, latest when darting and weaving between horses before switching to the fence and charging late. I think Demonstrator may be handy too so have the quinella as well.

Kensington Race 2 (1150m) 1:30 pm

I loved the debut effort of CELESTIAL CHARM. She was on speed in a very smiliar field and ran 2nd. Is with Michael Freedman so surely has improved and looms as the likely winner from Unjust.

Kensington Race 3 (1400m) 2:05 pm

You have to feel a little for the connections of FARSET. He has been runner-up at his past 5 starts. Led on a bog track under 60kg, last start, and didn’t look comfortable in the straight but bravely went down fighting by half a length. On home track here this time and has 3kg less. Will take catching from Konsa who can run on.

Catanach's BM 72

Kensington race 5 (1400m) 3:15 pm

Track will be damp and that suits this Victorian visitor DEEP PLEASURE. Is 4th up now, and I suspect she sits about 4th in running and appreciates the ground late to win from Surf’s Up.

Doomben Race 6 (1650m) 3:30 pm

This Sydney filly EMPRESS OF JAPAN should give trainer Michael Freeman a midweek interstate double when she sails down the outside to claim this race. Looks perfectly placed. Is 4th up, placed at past 2 in shorter races and has been crying out for this trip.
