Prague 2YO

Warwick Farm race 1 (1100m) 12:15 pm

Not overly keen on tipping unraced babies but I’ve seen the trials of this filly HUMID and her ears are always standing to attention as the chokehold has been applied in the straight. Today she will be allowed to run freely and probably gets up on the steel with cover on the fence. Big show.

Warwick farm race 3 (1300m) 1:25 pm

Not a terribly strong maiden but a fascinating one. I think SWEET PROPOSAL is the best of the Annabel Neasham trio, although the unraced one, FIRE ISLAND did win a trial recently and has formed from $12 into $8. Quinella them up but I do think Sweet proposal, 3rd up, will finish the hardest.

Warwick Farm () 2:35 pm

This young stayer with Ciaron maher, NAVAL COMMISSION, does look very genuine and seems to be just rolling through his grades rather comfortably. If I’m right, he can take care of business here also. Only missed a place twice in 11 runs so he’s consistent too and Nash rides which is always a massive help.

Warwick Farm race 7 (1200m) 3:45 pm

It does look like this Victorian filly DAZZLING LUCY is dropping in grade here. And being 2nd up after a handy first up 4th down south, suggests to me she is ready to run a mighty race in this. The track will be damp today and she seems to go very well on wet tracks. She’s been in Sydney for over a week so I say get on.

BM 70

Sandown race 7 (1400m) 3:55 pm

This GENERAL FIREPOWER is a little finicky but when he’s allowed to lead he races genuinely. I suspect, now that this is his 4th start this prep, that he is very fit and will fly out of the gates in search of the lead. If controls the tempo he can win. The Canberra horse going for his 4th win on the trot, CRAVING MAGIC can run on into 2nd.
