Chris Waller’s filly MISS LOLA has been backed and beaten 8 times thus far, latest when beaten a nose at Moe when resuming. While in Sydney she has into placings in better maidens than this and deserves one last chance here. Toss in the bottom weight Ninetyfiveinafifty for 2nd as her run this grade last start was solid.

I have been and will always be a punter who is drawn towards horses coming back in grade. This is a maiden field, but all of them, bar MENESS have raced unplaced in weaker, provincial maidens than he has. True, he was well beaten at only start too, but his was in a Saturday 2YO. that will do me.

Third up REALIKA is the play. Has the best form and is ready to just go bang now fully fit. I like the mare Oak Beach for 2nd.

Pretty open affair this but I’m on DIDN’T MISS MANY because of the weights. Finished ahead of rival VIVACISSIMO last run and is better off at the weights because of the claim. Quinella them here.

Another even field and the state of the track probably determines the result. I think the fresh horse on the scene BLACK BABYLON looks nicely placed by Team Archibald. Will probably settle back in the field but has staying ability late and can finish. Is 3rd up here so is super fit now. Big show.
