Asahi Super Mdn
A step up to 1300m is all GRAFFITI TYCOON needs to win this. Has raced twice for 2 strong placings, both times running home hard in Super Maidens. Fit, looks perfectly placed and storms home for mine from Time To Dance who has drawn the rails.
Ranvet 2YO Fillies Mdn
Hmmm. A South Australian trained maiden filly coming to Sydney with Melbourne based star hoop Jamie Melham to ride in her very first start. That tells me a lot, like – she might be very smart. I’ll take that gamble at $4.20. Her name is LA BARRITA. watch betting.
Catanach's BM 72
I was on AGAINST THE LAW last start in exactly this grade and she ran 4th. Was midfield to the turn, over this trip and plugged on beaten 2 lengths. Zac Lloyd sticks with her. So I will too. She is fitter now and more importantly, is on her home track this time.
Hyland Colours BM 72
This bloke SOUTHERN PRINCE looks to be Saturday grade. was 5th at Gr 1 level last campaign and resumed with a solid 3rd this grade at Newcastle last start over a mile. Much fitter now and should storm home over these. I’ll keep a watchful eye on the mare Mohave River too. She should benefit a great deal from her debut Aussie start last time out when 8th.
Mullins Cl 3 Hcp
I like the look of HEY DAISY here because the track is damp and she likes it that way. Has speed, probably leads these, and significantly, she is good while fresh and hasn’t raced for 53 days. Nice each way play for mine.
