Love the drop in grade for FAWLTY AFFAIRS here. He’s well travelled too, so should be sensible and drawn perfectly with in form Zac Lloyd to ride. Probably sits about 4th, with a bunch of cover then charges late. Was 4th in a stakes race at Caulfield last start. And the form in that race has been strong. Quinella with Seraphox.

I suspect the untapped talents of Oso Spirited will be seen here and she will be taken to the front from gate rise. She may be very good, but is just at the start of her career. Won well in maiden grade here when on speed all the way. But, I like NATOYA to run her down. She resumes here, Tom Marquand to ride, has a great draw and goes well fresh. Plus, there has been overnight money for her. Quinella them.

Many chances here and it looks a repeat of the race at Wyong won by Subarctic with most of that field backing up here. Weight differences probably mean different result. However, I’m going away from that form. I’m on KNIGHT’S ARMOUR who has been campaigning in Cup races like the Albury and Canberra Cups. Hasn’t finished too far adrift each time too and this is easier.

It was only a maiden, well a Super Mdn, but the way METALLIC CAT jumped and ran, then extended when they straightened, suggests she is all class. Still has a bit to learn and the quick back up here is new to her, but that raw speed will keep her in this contest for a long time. Quinella with the toppie, Deep Pleasure, who resumes.

If we are all over Metallic Cat and she wins, then surely we back up and get on CASTLEJOHN here. He has raced just once and on that day, flew down the outside to give Metallic Cat her one and only beating. Take on trust here as he goes up a long way in grade, but he may well be up to it. Is on home track too.
