I saw this unraced colt STEEL WILL trial recently. His rival today, Peyton, led all the way to win the trial but this bloke was only asked to run hard over the final 150m and he rocketed home for 3rd. He probably sits back here but I suspect he may be good so will run on. Quinella them.

This filly SPICE PRAWN gets in well here under the Plate conditions. Add to that she is 3rd up, has drawn well, and is much more suited to this trip than in recent starts, she really appeals to me. Gets back but has a finishing burst. Maidoff will be heavily backed too so quinella them.

TEST OF LOVE is a former Hong Kong sprinter who has settled into Australian racing very well. He has raced twice here now and won both, latest here this trip. The apprentice claim is a big help too and is now super fit. Big show.
