PRESIDENT was thrashed by 8 lengths in a recent trial by Lyles who he meets in this. On the strength of the trial, punters have rallied behind the speedy Lyles who has firmed from $3.60 into $3.10. However, President was out for a stroll, didn’t try an inch and I suspect under race conditions he will stand up and reverse the order. Quinella them.

Interesting race. The Stars is very fast as is YES YES BOSS and they should both get out and go. They did this the last time they ket in this grade and finished 2nd and 3rd. Yes Yes Boss was 3rd that day but I suspect she takes more fitness out of that race and therefore I’m on her to turn the tables. The query horse is Ti Amo Tanto who hasn’t shown much in 3 starts. But, why is Jay Mac on her instead of The Stars?

Normally not ideal waking up to see a horse you like blow from $4.80 to $7.20, but I just think the race still pans out for the filly ATELIER. She’s had 3 starts, 2 in the bush, has won them all and is bred to love this journey. I think she sits on speed and lands the cash from Spaceballs who should get back and run on hard.

I’m going to give the very disapppointing MAWJOOD one more chance to atone here. He’s had 3 goes this time up and not performed well although, he was only beaten 2 lengths in a much harder BM 78 race last start. That’s the saving grace as I like horses dropping in class. House Of Cards for the quinella.

One clear standout bet here if major market oves mean anything. MUPPET. He’s been smashed from $10 into $6.50 and the flood looks like continuing. Up in grade a bit here but has won 2 of past 3 starts.
