Everything points to Idle Flyer the $1.50 fav winning this. Everything bar the most important thing in racing. And that is the race tempo. I suspect METAPHORICALLY, who is very fit now, jumps to the lead and young Zac Wadick then steadies him in front, thus taking the staying finishing zip out of the fav who is really strong late. They should finish one, two but I’m tipping an upset as Metaphorically can dictate. Will be a tremendous tactical battle.

When last in work SAKIMA won handsomely first up. She resumes here. Later that prep she raced well at stakes level. Has grown and matured and had two trials recently. I think today she finishes too hard for these with Winchester chasing her home in 2nd. Sakima has firmed overnight too.

Very good 2YO maiden with about 6 potential stakes horses involved. Hard to find a winner but I think EDEN ROSE will improve on her first-up effort when making good headway late for 4th at Flemington. Extra 200m trip suits, long straight suits and is fitter now. I like Heavenly Conquest to be there in 2nd for the quinella bet.

CAPITAL ASSET is 3rd up in this and is ready to pounce. His hardest rival to beat is Noble Conqueror who beat him by 3 lengths a few weeks back. However, Capital Asset is fitter now and more importantly, meets his rival a whopping 7kg different this time. Quinella them but I’m having a hefty go at my choice.

It doesn’t really matter why, but when an avalanche of money comes you just follow it. And they jumped out of the trees to back TARVUE overnight in a big way. Is a last start provincial winner and this trip looks ideal. Get on.
