Tough little race to work out because nearly all of them are slow and not likely to have long careers. saying that, the lightly raced Ciaron Mahar 3YO called WOLFOFFITZROYSTREET is having just his 3rd start here but has shown a bit placing in both his maiden runs thus far. Suited by this trip and is fit enough to run a  great race, particularly because he has the rails draw and won’t use too much gas.

Another race where it is hard to find a genuine horse who loves winning. But, I’ve settled on MISS HADES here because she has shown she can run faster 1400m times than her rivals. And, she is 2nd up here after a good 2nd at Newcastle behind the smart Maid Of Moolah. Fitter now.

Hard to go past winning form but this BLACK BABYLON, who is going for 3rd win on the bounce is up in grade, weight and distance. Yet, despite all that, I think he is on the improve and should get the chocolates. Gives the impression he will like it long here.

They have started to come for this exciting young stayer in the making, Touchdown, but on this occasion I think he may run 2nd. I like FIORENOT. He is 3rd up here and was 3rd in the race won by Touchdown last start. He meets him 2.5kg better and should really appreciate this trip especially now as he is fitter. Quinella them.

I was all over EMPIRE OF PAIN in this grade with this weight last start and she led until the last bound, beaten a nostril. I gotta back up again here.
