Hawaii Five Oh Super Mdn
Tough little super maiden but I like the way SENSATIONAL WIND jog-trotted in a recent trial. She’s only raced once, when 5th in a Saturday race then spelled. Trial was up the line and she was well beaten but was not asked to do anything. I think she has a ton of talent and we may see it here first up from King Of Dragons who has already placed at this level a couple of times.
Bitton Mdn
Hard to separate two in this: SUNSHINE LAW and Hurry Miss and both fillies are by Alabama Express. Both, are also owned by Yulong but with different trainers. One of them, Sunshine Law, is 3rd up and will be on speed all the way while Hurry Miss is a back marker who charges late. I do think they will quinella the race but I have a leaning toward the speed horse.
3YO + Mdn
Just following the enormous amount of money wagered overnight on BELLE DETELLE in this. She has raced just the once when unlucky 2nd at Seymour and he money says she makes amends here. Will get back and rocket home.
Proven Thoroughbreds BM 72
I think we can overlook the poor run by MALABAR this grade last start. He was 2nd up, was ridden up on pace on a heavy track and just weakened over the last 150m. That was a mile. This is slightly shorter, will sit off the pace this time, is 3rd up with a senior rider now. I think he goes very close.

This Joe Pride-trained stayer, ELLE HUDSON, seems to be getting better with racing and his win in easier grade last start at Newcastle was impressive. Had previously been beaten but in good time for this grade. Super fit now, and will love this long straight as he gets back. Has been heavily backed.
