Super Mdn Plate

Rosehill Race 1 (1400m) 3:00 pm

No one could have missed how brave PEACE BIRD was last start when she hit the front in a good city maiden and was gunned down on the line by a star in the making called Nitro. Looking through the form here it appears as though their isn’t another Nitro in this and this filly is even fitter now. Big show. Quinella with Yattazou.

Star Turn BM 78

Rosehill Race 3 (1500m) 4:10 pm

It’s really hard to loom past consistent form at this level so I’m on SILVANITO in this. He’s been around a while and always runs bravely. This grade and trip suit a great deal. Was beaten 3 lengths 2 starts back in a strong Saturday BM 78 and last start was a length away when 3rd this level over 1400m. Fit and ready to fire up.

Asahi BM 88

Rosehill race 4 (1800m) 4:45 pm

I really think Chris Waller has placed UNLIMITED really well here. He is very fit, tough and should bounce out from this gate, be up in top 3 throughout and simply prove too fit and fast over the final 100m. On home track is a big advantage.

Gr 3 Bendigo Cup

Bendigo race 7 (2400m) 4:20 pm

Tough race but on best form displayed to date you have to go with the Sydney horse ARAPAHO. He does his best while fresh too and the fact he hasn’t raced since the Gr 1 Metrop where he was handy until fading in the final 200m, suggests he will bounce back. Has a big weight but he does like it wet and the track will be damp. Looks a nice each way wager from Don Diego De Vega who was a bit unlucky racing wide all the way last start.

Electrical BM 70

Bendigo race 8 (1300m) 4:55 pm

I really like following money and when it piles on for a horse resuming, I like it even more. FEAR NO EVIL has halved his price since betting opened on Monday afternoon. Resumes here, Nash on top, and should lead all the way.
