Bjorn Baker brings VIKTOR to the races and I think he wins this. He is very fit, having had 6 starts this prep, and he has raced on Saturday cards so this is a step down in grade. Goes up in trip, but he can race on pace and outkick these when they straighten. Quinella also with Winning Point.

Kembla Race 4 (120m) 4:40 pm

I think this BONDASONG is a good chance. He had his first start at Gosford 11 days ago and won easing down by nearly 4 lengths. Was backed off the map that day. Up in class here, but a lot of that money from last start has shown up again. Big show.

Eagle Farm Race 5 (1000m) 4:58 pm

From this lovely gate, AIR WE GO should jump and be on speed all the way. Did that at the Sunshine Coast last start when resuming in a stronger race and finished 2nd. Fitter now and will be in the hunt late.

Eagle Farm Race 5 (1400m) 5:33 pm

Lots of overnight money for LAST COMMAND means he comes into this race perfect. And, being in a strong stable that gets the job done, especially when the money is on, he looms very large. The fact he is 3rd up and down in grade are added bonuses. Quinella with Carravilla.

Sandown Race 8 (1800m) 7:30 pm

One of racing’s best things to me is watching a horse keep winning. Because, unless they are a Winx or Black Caviar, their price is often inflated – people expecting that run to end. Well, at $3.50 this WACO KID is over the odds. He won this grade over a mile last start making it 3 wins in a row. He sat off pace and came home hard. He gets the same weight to carry after the claim and an extra 200m to work with. Big, big danger.
