Warwick Farm race 3 (1000m) 4:05 pm

Lots of money came in overnight for this Team Hawkes sprinter BRAVE ONE. His only win was on a wet track and he gets a damp one here. Trialled well recently. Resumes here but looks ideally placed from, Jambalaya for the 2nd spot.

You just have to love a horse who is super fit and gets home hard. INEXORABLE is that horse here. He is big weight but runs a place this grade every start and is on the quick backup from last week when he ran home courageously this company for 2nd. Looms very large for mine.

Sandown race 4 (1200m) 5:25 pm

We get a look at a bit of a boom horse here in last start runaway winner SAMANGU. Graeme Begg, whose team is flying trains her and she has been crunched overnight. Hasn’t raced since easy maiden winner 41 days ago but the money for a mare from a strong stable speaks volumes.

Warwick farm race 4 (1600m) 4:40 pm

If ever a race was made for this out-of-form Qld mare BINDING to bounce back, this should be it. She is 2nd up here, probably rolls comfortably across to lead them from the get-go and given there isn’t a great deal of fire power in her wake, I think she can whack away and win from Pioneer Lass. Tempo of the race should suit Binding a lot.

Warwick Farm race 5 (1600m) 5:15 pm

AIX EN PROVENCE is 2nd up here after a terrific 3rd this grade when resuming. He’s lightly raced but shows a lot of promise and he boasts a terrific 2nd up record. Looks the play for mine from Invincible Spy who should be near lead all the way.
