Sheathers Class 1 Hcp

Wagga race 2 (1200m) 1:35 pm

This is a bit of a step up in grade for Bjorn Baker’s ONE RUN WON, but the way he led and just ran away from his maiden rivals at Orange suggests there is a bit of talent there. I suspect he’s matured, improved and will appreciate the short turn around and can do the same here. Throe in Donegal Bay for the quinella.

Sports Bar BM 82

Wagga race 3 (1200m) 2:10 pm

When you see this happen you have just one course of action – follow the money. TEYLU, a winner of past 2 outings, opened at $2.70 and is now $1.90. The money is unstoppable. Get on.

Andersens Class 3 Hcp

Wagga Race 3 (1000m) 2:45 pm

Battle of two very fast horses here in Brenlyn’s Legacy and BAGGAGE HANDLER. The latter will sit on the outside of the other bloke but is 3rd up and should be ready to fight tooth and nail to the line. Did that when a little under done and 3rd to the smart Teylu last start. Good race coming up.

Ted Ryder Cup

Wagga Race 6 (1600m) 3:55 pm

An old mare in form, hmmm, makes little sense backing her in a Cup race but I’m on MATHRIN who recently ran a fast mile, and who can run even better if track gets wet. She is very fit, been up a while but can run well this grade and has drawn perfectly. I like Associate to run 2nd.

Super Maiden

Wagga Race 7 (1000m) 4:30 pm

The topweight PYROLYSIS has drawn gate 7, carries 61kg and looks thrown in here. If you get black odds, get on. Is far better than these. Falcon Gold has horrible draw but does have ability and could bob for 2nd.
