This is a very strong maiden but I like the look of GREAT WHITE SHARK in this. He’s back on his home track and is 2nd up from a spell after a strong 5th when resuming. Was only a length behind Monte Veebee that day and must be fitter now. Has the services of the Magic Man today too and that’s a huge plus. Quinella with Monte.

I was on ETON over 1100m this grade on debut last start and he just looked all too new to the game getting way back off the speed early. Was 7th for home but he strode out and ran 3rd. That experience will give him enormous confidence and the extra 100m is a huge fillip too. I like him a lot here from Pantoja who has trialled really well.

This looks perfect for the Irish horse who is named after a province in Canada and who races at Rosehill today. His name is NEWFOUNDLAND. Gai and Adrian train him and he can run all day. Is 2nd up here after a good 3rd over 1900m when resuming this grade. Should bolt in from his stablemate King Of Clubs.

This beautifully bred top weight NEED SOME LUCK has drawn to get plenty of luck from gate 2 here. He is 2nd up and it is important to note that when 2nd up last prep, he won a Bm 72 over 1250m on a soft track. This is a BM 72, track is soft and he is 2nd up. Get on.

Hard to say just yet how good this mare HATASU is but when she resumed from spell last start in a weaker 1350m race she stormed home from 12th on the bend to just get up. Has a powerful finish and seems to be getting better with racing. Interesting runner today.
