Anamoe 3YO Mdn
Last prep DUVANA showed so much promise he chased hard when 3rd to Storm Boy in a stakes race. His form went off after that but those next two starts were on rain-affected ground. Back to midweek here, trialled well, the track will be lightning fast and he’s each way odds. I’m on from the new boy California Bay who looked good winning a recent trial.
Marcellin college Mdn
We know Johnny The Kid will lead and is very fit so he will lead them a long way. If he sets a cracking pace, and he should on his home track, then TI AMO TANTO looks to benefit a great deal. This will be just her 2nd race start and she races like the trip will suit. Smaller field than last start where she was 4-wide for the last 600m when finishing 5th will help. Quinella them.
Star Turn BM 72
PIERCING ARROW resumes here over a sprint trip. He showed last campaign when tried over a mile that he couldn’t run that out. On home track here, with 2 trial wins under his belt he looks to lead all the way from Yendy. That’s my exacta bet.
Class 4 Hcp
Consistent form in these midweek races goes a very long way and this BEEBEE DAZZLER boasts that. He’s had 10 starts and won 3, placed 6 times! Gets to sit behind the speed here and has been well-backed overnight. Sure to be running home hard with Jimmy Orman steering.
Shinzo BM 72
I am a stickler for home tracks and ROCK EMPIRE gets that here. He jumps fast, and from this gate will drive to the front. He is 2nd up and I just think he keeps running and wins from True To Form who is in form winning past two starts and United Kingdom who should get back and run home hard. Trifecta.
