2&3YO Mdn

Kensington race 1 (1150m) 1:25 pm

I rather like the look of this juvenile ALBANY ROAD even though he’s up against some handy 3YOs. He trialled very impressively recently and I know the Gai and Adrian stable hold him in high regard. He resumes here after a poor run on debut against his cohort but does appear a better animal this time around. Quinella with Cold Brew who has been heavily supported overnight.

Kensington race 3 (2400m) 2:35 pm

I tried so hard, so hard to find a reason to tip against the topweight in this CASUAL CONNECTION. But I just couldn’t. He won easily with 2.5kg less last start against a very similar field. He’s in form, is trained here and I just think he swamps them late again.

Hellbent BM 72

Kensington race 5 (1400m) 3:45 pm

This just looks tailor-made for local horse CALIFORNIA SUNRISE. Today she is 4th up, on her home track and will love the fact it’s not a heavy surface. Sits off the speed and runs them down me thinks. Peschiera finishes 2nd after hitting the front for quinella players.

All Too Hard BM 72

Kensington race 6 (1400m) 4:20 pm

The clue here is found in Jay Mac sticking around for the last race. He does that only if he rates his mount and he’s on DELRICO for Chris Waller. The horse resumes from a spell and may have a lot of ability. Watch betting.

Doomben race 8 (1350m) 4:34 pm

I just love horses coming back in grade. Especially with a weight allowance. We have one here in MISS BUSSLINGER for in form trainer Kris Lees. She’s drawn a little awkwardly but is grades better than most of these and is very fit. Just needs luck in running to win for mine.
