Schweppes BM 72 Hcp

Kensington Race 1 (1800m) 1:25 pm

There was an avalanche of money for MONFELICITY last start and after settling well back she came home very hard to grab 2nd in a similar race. That day it didn’t favour horses coming from behind. If the track plays evenly today, she should win this.

3YO Mdn

Kensington Race 2 (1300m) 2:00 pm

All these ‘Legend’ horses seem to be able to run well. This new one KEY LEGEND is on debut but betting trends overnight suggest he will run well. He is. by super sire Churchill and his trial form has been very good. Respect the money coming from the ‘in the know’ crowd.

Vinery Stud BM72 Hcp (F&M)

Kensington Race 3 (1400m) 2:35 pm

This lightly raced, unbeaten filly TROPICAL SQUALL might be very smart. Gai and Adrian kick off her spring prep in this and she will be up against it taking on CORIOLIS but there is a feel at Tulloch Lodge that this filly will make the grade. Won a trial and is worth backing here.

Same Race Multi Handicap

Sandown Race 6 () 3:55 pm

Just love a Gai and Adrian horse in a restricted race because they will go to the early lead and nearly always nothing take them on so they fight down the straight. That’s what I suspect from SPEAK NOW here with Winona Costin the irons. Won a weaker race last start.

Thoroughbred Club Australia Handicap

Kensington Race 7 (1000m) 4:55 pm

This may be a toss at the stumps. SOVEREIGN FUND as an early 2YO looked to be one of the very best in the country. But, at his 3rd start he ran 16th and in subsequent runs, all three in fact, he hasn’t fired a shot. Resumes here as a 3YO with a strong trial run under his belt. Watch the market.
