Best Bets – Wed 2nd August

Kensington Race 1 (1550m) 12:50 pm

With just two runs under his belt this colt DUNBELIEVIN’ looks ready to produce. Lots of money has come for the Chris Waller horse LE CHOCOLATE so quinella him with Dunbelievin’. Last start on a Saturday this bloke made ground from the back and was ridden home hard all the way down the stretch. Longer trip here looks ideal.

Kensington Race 2 (1100m) 1:25 pm

I was all set to be all over COINCIDE here until I saw his stablemate SUMMER LOVING had accepted. She has drawn widest while Coincide is on the fence and for all intents and purposes you’d have to have him over the filly. Except for one crucial aspect – Tim Clark rides the filly. He gets the pick of the Waterhouse/Bott runners. Should lead all the way.

Kensington Race 3 (1800m) 2:00 pm

THE MILKYBAR KID is 2nd up here after leading and fading over 1600m last start. He does boast 2nd up form winning last prep while 2nd up. Will lead and with the overnight rain which will suit him immeasurably and on his home track here, he should improve a great deal and win from OLYMPIC GAZE who actually beat him last start.

Kensington Race 4 (1550m) 12:35 am

Bush horse TWO BIG FARI is 3rd up and is ready. Hasn’t done much at his past four runs but is back in a grade over a trip that will suit today. as will the damp track. Runs huge from BAT OUT OF HELL who has been backed overnight.

Doomben Race 7 (1350M) 4:03 pm

Chris Waller produces stayer PARALLEL here first up. He does have strong fresh form and should be back better than ever here now that he’s a 4-year-old. Watch market because he is expected to run a big race.
