I do think the higher weighted horses have it this year. Gr 1 Caulfield Cup form to me is always a great test leading into this and so WITHOUT A FIGHT who won that Cup can get the chocolates in this. Last year’s Melbourne Cup winner GOLD TRIP is racing even better this year so you have to have him in your numbers. The Irish star VAUBAN they say is very tough and can stay all day so he’s my trifecta horse and for the first 4 – hmmm, BREAKUP or RIGHT YOU ARE. Fun race this year.
