BM88 Handicap
STYLISH is well and truly over the odds here in a BM 88 event and gets a claim for Jackson Radley too. She worked home stylishly behind Duchess Zou at Flemington last start after getting well back in the run. She is drawn well here and should get a gun run throughout. Definitely worth an each-way play.
BM84 Handicap
CHANGING COLOURS appears to be a nice way to end the card here at The Heath today. She was given a pearler of a ride by Luke Cartwright last time at Flemington and showed a really nice change of gears late to run away with a solid win. She gets Blake Shinn on board today and drops a kilo in weight from that win. Looks the one.
Belmont Newmarket
REPOSSESSION only saw daylight halfway down the straight last time and should’ve finished much closer to Immortal Bliss in his first-up effort a month ago. He has a great second-up record winning twice and gets Brad Parnham back on board. Ticks a few boxes here and he should prove very hard to beat.
BM78 Handicap
AUTOMNE TREE looked to have the race won last time out here, until he was run down by Livalittle whom he meets again here. This time they will meet on more favorable terms; Ryan Maloney gets a 2kg weight turnaround from that loss and that advantage should be enough to turn the tables.
Open Handicap
WARBY has not been finding the frame of late but he hasn’t had much luck in those races and looks to strike a very winnable race here. I like the claim being taken by Leah Martyn and it will be the lightest weight he has carried for a long time. Hopefully he will get a cosy run in behind the pace and that will enable him to finish off the race nicely.
