Best Bets – Saturday 4th January

DASHING looks as though he has his hoof right on the till going by his last couple of runs. He boxed on solidly in the Werribee Cup then had no luck in the straight only finding a run until late at The Heath last time. Looks like a nice race for him.

SHE’S BULLETPROOF has drawn perfectly and should be able to camp right on the leaders heels throughout. If she gets that nice trip and finds room in the straight, she should take a power of holding off at the finish.

Going with TANNHAUSER to get back into the winners stall. Third-up here and has been working to the line nicely in his two runs back from a let up. Should get a nice run midfield and look for him to be running all over them late.

Sticking with PRINCE OF BOOM in this $1 million The Syndicate. Although he had every chance last time in front, the run would have tightened him up and the Gold Coast circuit suits his style of racing having won twice there. Should give you a great sight. 

Hard to go past LADY OF CAMELOT here in the Sunlight. She ran 4th to Bella Nipotina and then Switzerland up the straight over the Flemington carnival and a solid trial at Hawkesbury should have her ready to get a win back on the board. She looks the one to beat.
