Queensland Guineas

Eagle Farm Race 7 (1600m) 3:33 pm

It’s hard to knock BRAVE MONARCH’s recent form, and he looks like the one to beat here in the Guineas. He is third-up and comes off a strong win in the Daybreak Lover. He will be ready to peak. Generally takes a sit in the run and has displayed wonderful turn-of-hoof when asked for that supreme effort and this look his race.

Victory Stakes

Eagle Farm Race 8 (1200m) 4:13 pm

PRIVATE HARRY makes his return to the track today in the Victory Stakes. Before he went out for a spell, he won the Group 1 Galaxy at Randwick, placed fifth in The Shorts & fifth again in the Premiere behind Briasa. He has had two trials to prepare for this first-up run and he looks ready to go. Ash Morgan gets back on board and he can he strikes fresh.

BM84 Handicap

Bendigo Race 6 (1300m) 2:30 pm

The step up to 1300m looks ideal for DUCHESS ZOU to return to the winner’s stall after a couple of narrow seconds lately. She should get a nice run in behind a solid speed and be able to run over them late. She has the advantage of a nice apprentice claim with the in-form Logan Bates taking the ride, and any juice in the ground will only enhance her chances.

Golden Mile

Bendigo Race 9 (1600m) 4:20 pm

WONDER BOY won the Bendigo Guineas this time last year and is now trying to win The Golden Mile today. He won nicely at Mornington last time after sitting back in the field and running over the top of them to win by 2 lengths. Proven in Listed and Group company and should go very close to winning today.

Three-years-old Handicap

Ascot Race 6 (1200m) 3:00 pm

SNITZALATTE looks well placed to get the hat-trick of wins today at Ascot. The step up to 1200m looks ideal at this stage of his preparation and with Holly Nottle taking 2kgs off with her apprentice claim the filly gets some weight relief. Drawn to get the perfect run in behind the speed and she will have last crack at these.
