TATTS CUP

EAGLE FARM Race 5 (2400m) 2:07 pm

No reason why SIR LUCAN can’t win again in the Tattersall’s Cup. He proved just too strong for Bear On The Loose last time at Rosehill winning the Winter Cup and with the added fitness third-up he should take a power of beating.

TATTS MILE

EAGLE FARM Race 7 (1600m) 3:23 pm

Having a throw at the stumps here with DEMOCRACY MANIFEST to win the Tattersall’s mile. Although he has the 60kgs to contend with he is a two time Group winner and last time out raced in the Kingsmith-Smith Cup behind Joliestar. At the double figure odds, he is worth an each-way play.

BM84 Handicap

CAULFIELD Race 7 (1200m) 3:30 pm

Do like MOBY DICK here even though he has drawn off the track. Last start he loomed at them coming around the corner and kept chasing hard although the 6th place doesn’t look great on paper. He should get a cart from that draw and with the fitness on his side, he may just run over the top of them this time.

QUALITY Handicap

CAULFIELD Race 8 (2000m) 4:05 pm

SAYEDATY SADATY is third-up from spell and looks ready to break back into the winners stall. He has been run down by Saban his past two runs and with that horse not here today, this is his chance to get the win.

BELMONT GUINEAS

PINJARRA Race 7 (1600m) 4:20 pm

STORYVILLE seemed to race quite flat last time out at Bunbury as he was disappointing in the run home. That was second-up and with the extra trip seemingly an advantage, he may have just been looking for this further distance. William Pike stays on-board which is a bonus, so look for him to bounce back in the Belmont Guineas.
