Gold Carat

CRANBOURNE Race 5 (1200m) 2:35 pm

HARRY’S YACHT was extremely unlucky when second to Steel Move at Ballarat in the Stockade last time out and the winner went to Caulfield Heath last week and ran a solid placing. That form should hold up and hopefully from the middle draw, he wont find any traffic congestion this time. Looks like the one to beat.

BM78 Handicap

CRANBOURNE Race 10 (1600m) 5:40 pm

MIXXIT led them up at Caulfield Heath last weekend and only went down in a busy finish by under a length. He has Jye McNeil taking over the reins today and he should be able to race on speed, which has been quite beneficial of recent times at the track. Should prove hard to get past.

EAGLE FARM Race 7 (1600m) 3:57 pm

TORABELLA looked very disappointing on paper last time running 10th of 13 behind Miss Jolene in the Tails (Listed event) last time out. The run was okay, as she had to work hard early on to sit outside the tearaway leader Sibaaq throughout. She only wilted half way down the straight in that race, so prepared to give her another chance to bounce back.

FALVELON

EAGLE FARM Race 8 (1200m) 4:32 pm

PAYLINE has had a freshen up since running 5th in the Damien Oliver over the Flemington carnival behind Warnie. He was only beaten 2 lengths in that effort and was holding his ground well in Group 2 class. Although he is yet to win at Eagle Farm, he has placed three times and this race looks to suit him whilst he is on the fresh side. Looks a strong each-way play.

Great Northern Handicap

ESPERANCE Race 6 (1400m) 4:30 pm

WILD IMAGINATION won at this track last time out carrying 64.5 and pulled away to win by over a length in only her second run in W.A. after coming over from South Australia for the David Page camp. That run just showed her class and with a half kilo less this time with Ava Catarino on board, expect her to put up another win.
