At a decent price prepared to have an each-way play on PRAIRIE FLOWER today in The Standish. She was enormous when running home hard first-up at Caulfield behind Aviatress and then had no luck in the run when 5th in the Christmas Handicap at Morphettville to Klabel last time. She has run well down the straight in the past, so look for her to be running home well late.

KNOBELAS only went down narrowly last run at Caulfield Heath to Roadcone, whom she meets again here. One more bound was all she needed last time to beat Roadcone and wobbling out around the corner probably cost her dearly. Has a similar map again here and this time, she should have plenty of time to run over them down the long Flemington run home.

Sticking with PAYLINE to bounce back after looming large first-up and just running out of condition when beaten a length behind Hidden Wealth at Eagle Farm last time. Has a much better second-up record, drops a kilo and the draw suits him ideally this time around. Feel as though he should be able to find room in the straight and run over his opponents over the concluding stages to win.

Sticking with GRAFTERBURNERS here in the Magic Millions Sunlight Stakes after drawing so well in two and James McDonald is making the trip to ride him. He has strung together 3 wins in a row and although he hasn’t won by any great margin, he has done enough and is a fighter when horses come to challenge. He should be the one they will have to beat. 

The impressive four-year-old mare in MADHI GIRL looks extremely hard to hold out today in the Listed Miss Andretti Stakes. She was very good first-up running over her rivals in the Summer Sorcher last time out and should be at her peak for this contest. William Pike to ride and look for him to be launching from back in the field on straightening for home and running over the top of them.
