A Day At The Track – Flemington 13 September

1. SHE’S AN ARTIST was making a name for herself last prep. Back for the spring in a race she can control and has drawn perfectly on the inside of the straight which may be fast. Looks hardest to beat.

2. HARRY GOT STYLES has been up a while and has a big weight but he is always good in this grade and should be thereabouts all the way. Also has comes down the flat side of the track.

3. TONKIN might be very good. He’s won 4 in a row, in low key events but seems to have that requisite will-to-win. Watch market.

Tips: 10 – 1 – 8

1. Good race full of exciting young charges. TYCOON STAR seems back this prep even better than last time in and back then he was one of the stars. Will take a power of beating.

2. McGAW is exciting. Lightly raced but his 2nd when resuming in a very tough race last start says he’s a player at the top level. Will shake this.

3. DEVIL NIGHT should get back but if he is on, and 2nd up he probably will be, he can finish very hard indeed. Good trifecta race.

Tips: 2 – 5 – 1

1. VINROCK is high grade. In fact, once fully fit he may well be the best 3YO in the land. As such, 2nd up here, he can blouse these late.

2. CROSSBOW is a talented 3YO who is very fit and runs home hard. Loving his time in Victoria and should place.

3. HIGHVOL has raced 3 times and won twice, both of those wins over this course and trip. So, he rates highly here.

Tips: 1 – 3 – 2

1. Every horse here looks a hope. So tough. I like MY GLADIOLA because she has a bit of x-factor about her. Drawn out wide so probably shuffles to the outside fence. Great 2nd this level when resuming last start and strips fitter here.

2. ICARIAN DREAM resumes here but probably drifts to the grandstand rail with My Gladiola early. Has run big races as a 2YO so may pay to follow.

3. STEEL TRAP is another with impressive record from past campaigns who resumes here. And she is on the inside. Good luck with this race.

Tips: 2 – 3 – 5

1. This star Queenslander TRANSATLANTIC is by a Gr 1 winner from a Gr 1 winner and he himself is a stakes winner. was 9th last start in the Gr 1 Stradbroke. Is in Melbourne to resume and the word is he is ready.

2. Gai and Adrian present GERRINGONG here 2nd up. Never mind that as their horses are ready all the time but he has the pace to lead and will take catching here.

3. CAFE MILLENIUM is in form and very fit. Knocked over a similar race last start and should be rattling home again.

Tipds: 3 – 8 – 4

1. This looks a lovely race for ARKANSAW KID. He races his best at this track and the trip suits him. Blake Shinn will get the best out of him too. I like him a lot.

2. TUVALU is the class but resumes here. Likely to to be just off speed and if he’s back to his best he is a player.

3. BANDI’S BOY is a bit hit and miss but is 4th up, weighted well and likely to love this straight course.

Tips: 4 – 1 – 8

1. SAYEDATY SADATY is in career best form and gives the impression he can run all day. Five starts this time up, all this grade for 2 wins and 3 placings. Looks to be able to slot in and finish hard.

2. REVELARE is 3rd up and it’s a big ask stepping up in trip here into open grade but he seems to be very smart. Looked good winning shorter, easier race last start. Big show.

3. JENNIVAMOOSE is all heart and is a stablemate of Sayedaty Sadaty. She’s well weighted and will be on pace throughout. Is very fit and has won 3 of past 4 runs.

Tips: 3 – 4 – 6

1. VIA SISTINA. Champoion. Should win.

2. AELIANA is impressive and improving all the time. Big danger.

3. ANTINO is usually at his best when 2nd up and is 2nd up here.

4. MR BRIGHTSIDE is as consistently good as the Cairns weather.

Tips: 5 – 6 – 3 – 1

1. There’s a touch of class about this LAZZURA from Sydney. Stormed home from a mile back to win at Randwick when resuming last start and can go on good or heavy tracks. Respect her.

2. There is a lot to like about LEICA LUCY here. She’s a Gr 1 winner from NZ and she’s been with Chris waller for a few months now. Resumes here and has never been beaten first up.

3. ABOUNDING is consistent at this level and 2nd up into this after a slashing 3rd in similar race.

Tips: 3 – 1 – 6

1. He’s a good horse on his day this GLOBE and this may well be his day. Top field but he’s 3rd up and will run on strongly. Trip suits him a lot.

2.YOUNG WERTHER is 2nd up and is capable at this level over this journey. Probably sits midfield but is honest late.

3. GOLDEN PATH has the bad draw. Where does he go to from here early? Probably back searching for cover but has lots of talent and if in touch as they turn represents a threat.

Tips: 4 – 9 – 1
