Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, previews Wednesday’s midweek meetings, with horse racing tips and analysis for the five best bets of the day. Good luck, punters!

Interesting race because the horses the hoops are on don’t match up with recent form. Saying that, the filly CELESTIAL SPIRIT does and she looks to be the one to beat. I suspect she drives early and finds the front or at the very least from this great draw sits in 2nd on the fence. Being 3rd up she can scoot to the front as they turn and prove too tough late. GREBENI can plug on for 2nd.  Big show.

Tip: CELESTIAL SPIRIT

Fascinating affair. I am plumping for the top weight here in IMRAHOR. I know he was rolled by 30 lengths last start but it was very heavy and he was eased down. Has since trialled well and last start he was backed with confidence. So something went wrong. Gets in here well at the weights following a claim and worth a look at. CEASEFIRE has been backed.

Tip:  IMRAHOR

I do like the look of the top weight also here. His name is DILLIAN and fittingly Dylan Gibbons rides. He is yet to run in Australia but has trialled well and looks as if the wet track will help. Has raced in Gr 1 company on Ireland and although comfortably beaten did show up. His last go at this restricted level resulted in a 5 lengths win at Pontefract in England on a soft track. Has been backed.

Tip: DILLIAN

Ok, heading with for three x top weights here with the AIR TO AIR tip. She is 3rd up here for new trainers Gai and Adrian. Probably sits in the top few early and she has strength late in this grade. Bound to be right in the finish.

Tip:  AIR TO AIR

Only job here is to follow the money and it is all coming for the lightly raced SACRED MISSION from the David Vandyke stable. This will be just his 4th start the previous three have all been strong. Won his maiden at this track and is bred to get this trip.

Tip: SACRED MISSION
