I do like the look of this contest. We have a Victorian visitor in KING AVIATOR who adds an element of intrigue. Does his Vic form stack up up against locals? Hard to say definitively but running the rule over it all I suspect yes. He has placed twice down there on the synthetic which suggests he will handle the wet which he finds this afternoon. We do know he is very fit and has drawn to receive the dream run parked in 3rd to the bend. If he gets a split in these straight I think he lands the cash from JUNGLE FEVER who seems to have worked out what to do now.

Might be the theme of the day today – back the Victorians. I really think this filly FAITHFUL MARYANNE rockets home to claim the prize this afternoon. Today will be her 4th start and her first this way of going but what she has shown in her past two starts suggest she is ready. The way she is finishing off her races is encouraging. The long straight here suits a great deal. Last start she was closer in the run than previous starts when 4th for home and she ground out a solid finish to grab 2nd at Wangaratta and that level of maiden tends to be a couple of lengths stronger than Albury. Looks the pea. ONEMOREKIMMIE showed talent when 4th last start. Quinella them.

Gee it does look like SNOWBELLA has been thrown in here. Big weight yes but she is smarter than these and is on her home turf. Great 2nd when resuming. Last prep won brilliantly 2nd up so everything looks in order for this. MISS ELSIE MAY for the exacta.
