Muswellbrook R3 – Maiden Plate 1500m
This looks like a nice fit for PUPPETEER. Trained by Ciaron Maher and David Eustace he looks deliciously well placed. He is a 3YO with just one run under his belt. That was in Victoria a few months ago. Now, here’s the thing. He was very confidently backed that day. That says to us that stable confidence existed and presumably still does. He was spelled after failing to fire a shot but that field was better than this one. Now in NSW he resumes here after 3 impressive trials. Watch markets as he might be pretty handy. LAST NOT LEAST was a solid 3rd last start when resuming. Will be a good quinella wager.

Muswellbrook R5 – Cl 1 Hcp 1280m
I so am looking forward to this race. Not often do you get a boom horse in a country race but we do here in TERRAMEADES. If she is as good as the reports are then the even money on offer looks a good bet. She is resuming here. Last campaign she raced twice and her last run was a head on the chest job winning her bush maiden in a jog trot. Is a 3Yo filly so they are taking their time but the money suggests you should get on today.

Muswellbrook R6 – BM58 Hcp 1280m
Lots of different form lines here. I think my bet will be DODECANESE in this. He is the best horse. But, what’s against him is the fact he hasn’t raced for a year or so. Recently he has trialled really, really well and that combined with his previous form which was against better horses, kicks in. Loves the trip and he does boast a good fresh record.
