Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, previews today’s Wyong meeting, with horse racing tips and analysis for 3 races. Good luck, punters!

Track: Heavy 10

Lots of intrigue in these mdn fields but I’m looking at trial form now and on that basis this unraced filly NOT THAT EASY looks the one. She was 2nd in a trial last week, beaten comfortably, but was not allowed her head at any stage. It had back me written all over it. Jason Coyle trains her and Willy Pike rides today. I suspect from this gate she drops back to be about 4th early, then if what I saw in the trial is accurate, she can explode once they turn for home. The market says that will be the case also as she has been heavily tried overnight. RED COBRA can run the quinella bet.

This is an interesting contest. We have the fairly well performed SNEAKY ISLAND engaged and she has been well tried here following a gritty and very close loss at Canberra last start this trip. But I like CALM DOWN to steam roll her today. She is 2nd up today after a strong placing this grade last start over 1400m. I think jockey Sam Clipperton might surprise a few here by going forward as the filly is fitter now and main rival Sneaky island is a back-marker. She probably sits on the outside of the leader and can steal a  march on her rival as they turn. but, Sneaky island is strong so have her in the quinella spot.

If all goes according to plan then CRAZY TRAIN should be winning this. She has the big weight but is 2nd up from a spell, following a great 3rd in stronger grade last start, and is always a player at this level. The scratchings help a great deal also plus the money rolled in for her overnight. Has won at this track too.
