Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, previews today’s Hawkesbury  meetings, with horse racing tips and analysis for 3 races. Good luck, punters!

Track: Soft 7

Lots of differing form lines to plough through here. But, my hardest rule is always favouring horses coming back in class. They can improve immeasurably and one here, from the Ciaron Maher and Dave Eustace barn, fits that algorithm. Her name is WHATAFOX, a largely disappointing and very, very costly filly. For instance she has been odds on fav on 4 occasions in her career of 8 starts and has not won any of them. Last start she was backed in to be a $2.20fav in town and finished 3rd. But this provincial maiden is another level down and the trip will suit her a great deal. Is very fit and likes to run on. Gets that opportunity at this track. GLOBAL SENSATION can bob for 2nd.

Interesting race. There is an enormous boom on this unraced galloper CONSPIRACIST for Team Hawkes. Has won two trials to date, one coming from last and one leading all the way and has been crunched overnight to win here on debut. But SECRET HUNTER, who was 2nd last start when resuming in this class in what was a very impressive performance, has also been backed. They appear the best two in the race so quinella and exacta them all day, but I like experience so am on Secret Hunter.

Another rule, get on dual acceptors and TILLMAN is that horse here. Scratched from the first for this and comes here with placings at this level from 5 starts to date. was a beaten odds on pop last start in the bush which is a worry but steps from gate 5 this afternoon and is very fit.
