Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN previews Saturday’s Randwick , with horse racing tips and analysis for all 10 races on the card. Good luck, punters!

Track Condition: Heavy 10

Rail Position: Out 4m entire circuit

WILLIAMSBURG looks a really strong prospect. He didn’t seem to like the mud last start but still ploughed through it to win the Gr 3 Baillieu over 1400m. He ran down MOKO, his rival again here and the mile looks to suit this bloke better. Just needs to get very wide in the straight looking for better ground.

MOKO obviously is tough and the danger again.

This is a big step ups in trip for last start Newcastle maiden winner RUSSIAN RONI but he is trained here and won his mdn on a heavy.

This looks a good race for FLYING CRAZY. He just keeps improving and the way he attacked the line two starts back to gun down the pacemakers and win the 1400m Canberra Guineas was pretty impressive. Gives the impression this track will suit.

MILITARY EXPERT can run and I think he can mix it with this crew. Always gives his all and is very fit. This draw on this wet track will help.

LOCH EAGLE may be somewhat of a rising star having won his past two in grand style and that form from those races is standing up.

This is the Grand Final for RUSTIC STEEL and he can offset the bad draw by easing back and finding cover. Is perfectly fit and won his heat the most impressive of all the other runners. Big danger.

GREAT NEWS is a dab hand in the wet and she finished like a train when resuming and beaten a nose in her heat behind Kinloch. Fitter now and will love the conditions.

GRANDE RUMORE also was very impressive when resuming and 2nd in her heat. Fitter now and can run on hard.

It will be interesting to see how this star West Aussie filly SHEEZA BELTER goes. On race patterns, she gets back and runs on hard. Resumes here but good trial recently and this is her new home track.

OJAI ran a cracking 5th in the recent Gr 1 Golden Slipper in the mud. She tried so hard and this would appear a little easier. is very fit.

DASHING LEGEND is a maiden but has obvious talents. Ran great race when 2nd at just her 2nd start in a race behind Seven Veils in the Gr 2 Reisling. Beat Ojai home that day and seems to handle mud well.

IN THE CONGO is the class and his terrific 3rd when resuming in a similar race just puts the polish on him. He is trained here and he goes forward early to find the best part of the track. Looks extremely hard to beat.

PAULELE comes back to own age here after a great 3rd in the rich TJ Smith on a heavy track last week behind Nature Strip. Is very gifted against his own peers and rates highly.

MAZU is the interesting horse. He just keeps improving and winning and his past two starts have been on heavy tracks at stakes level yet he has won them both very easily. This is a step up but he seems ready for it.

HINGED has been the star 3YO filly this prep and her ability on wet tracks, combined with her talents against her own cohort, just make it impossible to leave her out of your numbers. Query, as it is with many in the race, about her staying the journey right out but her tenacity will overcome that.

GYPSY GODDESS is going to take some beating also. Had her colours lowered for the first time from 6 starts when flashing home for 3rd to Fangirl and Hinged in the Gr 1 Vinery Stud Stakes ov er 1850m. This filly can stay and has wet track form. No surprise to see her bound back into the winner’s circle.

HONEYCREEPER is super fit and in superb form. Revelled in the mud to absolutely thrash her rivals in the Gr Adrian Knox over 2000m last week. Quick back-up helps. Will drop back and come hard late. That all helps a great deal.

PINK IVORY comes into this on 3 counts. Firstly, Jay Mac rides, secondly because she just loves the heavy going and thirdly because she appears to want this distance.

Tip: 1. GYPSY GODDESS  2. Hinged, 3. Honeycreeper, 4. Pink Ivory

What a terrific race. THE CHOSEN ONE is a class racehorse. He ran 5th in the Gr 1 Melb Cup and he doesn’t mind it wet. Terrific WFA 3rd last start and will benefit from that run. Big danger.

STOCKMAN is the in form horse who is weighted to win this. And is very fit. Can he run 2 miles? That’s the big question but he certainly loves it heavy.

SUREFIRE is from England and as such should handle the conditions. Is third up here after a great 2nd to No Compromise last start. Fitter, stronger and seems suited to 3200m.

CHALK STREAM is also from England and is owned by the Queen. Can run all day and being 3rd up here he should be very fit. Strong lightweight chance.

Tip: 1. SUREFIRE,  2, Stockman, The Chosen One, 4. Chalk Stream

Fantastic race. The weather is probably the key to this great contest. VERRY ELLEEGANT as we all know grows a leg in the mud and she has already won a Gr 1 this campaign. Looked flat-footed when beaten in the Gr 1  Ranvet Stakes last start when 2nd to MONTEFILIA who she meets again here.  That was her 3rd run this time up and she should be ready now. Has twice run 2nd in this race.

Montefilia will take a power of beating also as she is flying at present.

DUAIS is taking all before her winning 2 x Gr 1 races in a row and winning them easily. Comes back 400m here but she is a star at this trip and if the wet track doesn’t hinder her she will win this.

ANAMOE is a superstar 3YO and in grand form. Beaten a lip as we know and should have won the Gr 1 Cox Plate last spring. Since has raced brilliantly culminating in a runaway win on a heavy last start this trip at Gr 1 level. Looks the winner again. Has to be included.

Tip: 1. ANAMOE,  2. Montefilia, 3. Duais 4. Verry Elleegant

This looks so open, probably 2 million chances. COLETTE does stand out though. She loves the trip, is in great form, handles the heavy brilliantly and is a class above most of these. Big show.

LIGHTHOUSE will run a blinder. After winning the traditional Gr 1 lead-up to this easily, she drew gate 20 in the Gr 1 Doncaster last start and ran a terrific 8th. This suits a great deal more.

PROMISE OF SUCCESS is racing in career best form and has a tremendous gate. Easily ploughed through the mud last start to win the Gr 2 Emancipation after a game 4th in the Gr 1 Coolmore. Has strong claims.

You must respect unbeaten form and YONCE comes here after winning her only 6 starts. Likes it damp but is rising a long way in grade here. And drawn the fence may be a worry looking for better ground late. Still, is classy.

Tip: 1. COLETTE  2. Lighthouse, 3. Promise Of Success 4. Yonce

Near impossible to work out. So, so many chances, the track will be a mess, probably racing wide helps, and very few form lines to compare. Arghhhh.

BELLA NIPOTINA has been racing in stronger grade and is 3rd up here so that makes her a player.

BELLUCI BABE has been up a long while so is very fit and is maintaining her form. Always runs boldly.

WANDABAA is enigmatic. When she is on though, she comes home like a rocket so have in your numbers.
