Track Condition: Soft 5
Rail Position: Out 12m entire circuit
WRITE THE SCORE resumes from spell. Just could not break her maiden status last prep but was a model of consistency. Drawn to get the perfect run and has Jamie Kah aboard.
WYLD SAVANNA just wanted to overrace when beaten odds on favourite at Bendigo last start. She still does a bit wrong in her races but she has shown enough to suggest she can win this.
RED SISTA got home strongly and only just missed in a driving finish at Pakenham last start. She will be fitter for this and gets chance to go one better.
OCEAN’S JEN resumes in new stable. Finished just out of the placings in both runs at first prep and would not leave her out of first four chances.
Tip: WRITE THE SCORE
MAC ‘N’ CHEESE started a short priced favourite at Bendigo on debut and only just missed in a driving finish. Sure to be better from the race experience and she looks the one to beat.
Liked the way ROYAL FOX hit the line when placed at Warrnambool last start. Looks ready to break his maiden status and gets his chance.
BACK IN THE DAY ran up to win at the 200m at Pakenham last start but just peaked on run and found one better. He is close to a win and cannot leave out.
JUNGLE MAGNATE is a debutant from the Mick Price yard. Given an easy time in jumpout but nicely bred and look for any support in the market.
Tip: MAC ‘N’ CHEESE
SPOONING was dominant winning her maiden at Pakenham two starts back then she went to Adelaide last start and was placed in Listed company. The form good enough to get away with this.
SWEET KAROLINA caught the eye final stages when ran into a placing at Flemington last start. Geelong winner at previous start and expect she will be in finish again.
MISS TAINUI won her maiden on debut them she had no luck when always out the back at Wodonga last start. Drawn to get the perfect run and would not leave out of winning chances.
INDIAN DOLL made her own luck sitting up on the speed at Bendigo on debut before sprinting clear final stages. Better from the experience and must respect again.
Tip: SPOONING
CATATUDE did not get the best of runs when always wide on the synthetic last start but he still stayed on and held second spot. Fitter and if he gets better run can get away with this.
DINGA showed good speed and held off all challengers for gutsy win on the heavy ground at Warrnambool last start. If he gets his own way in front he will take running down.
NO FRONTIERS deserves her chance in town. She has done nothing wrong winning both her starts and no reason cannot make it three in a row.
HIGH RISK resumes from spell. She has won fresh and was not beaten all that far at The Valley last time in work. She could be one at odds for place chances.
Tip: CATATUDE
RUNAWAY TRAIN started this campaign in super form winning both starts on the provincial circuit then ran into a minor placing at Cranbourne last start.
WISAKA made big impression with dominant maiden win at Bendigo first-up then taken on a couple of hot races in town and fallen bit short. He gets back in winnable race.
LAUGHING GRIZZLY brings winning form to town. Grinding win at Bairnsdale two starts back then he was dominant at Geelong last start. He can measure up to this.
CHASKA did some early work to lead at Ballarat last start and just could not finish the race off well enough. Drawn to lead these and will take some catching.
Tip: RUNAWAY TRAIN
LINDHOUT should have won at Sale two starts back when held-up at vital stage before just missing. Beaten less than 2 lengths when odds on at Cranbourne last start and will be competitive in this.
AYAHUASCA got up in last couple of strides to win at Cranbourne on debut then overraced last start and did not finish race off. If she can settle she can sneak a place in this.
FIELDS OF IVY powered home final stages on the heavy ground at Ballarat last start and won by a big space. Finds a harder race but can measure up to these.
GALGANI won her maiden at Sale when fist-up last time in work. She was placed at Caulfield two starts back and from inside gat she should get her chance.
Tip: LINDHOUT
SCANTOON looked luckless first-up at Cranbourne. He sat deep throughout but still ran up to win at 200m. Just found one better late. Strips fitter and despite wide gate can get away with this.
VIBRANT GLIDER came from mile off them on the corner at Flemington last start and only just missed on the line. Should get the right run on fence and if he gets clear room can finish all over these.
VAINLY drove late to win at Mornington first-up from spell then was beaten when odds on favourite at Cranbourne last start. Third-up from spell and sure to be right in the mix.
FIERY RED was strong to the line winning at Cranbourne two starts back then placed at Lakeside last start. That form good enough to sneak a minor spot again.
Tip: SCANTOON
OVER THE SKY started favourite at Warrnambool first-up and finished too well for them last 200m winning by a margin. Sure to be better from that outing and he can measure up to this.
EXCELLERATION was doing his best work final stages at Bendigo last start and grabbed a minor spot. Will give them a start but has big finish and will be hitting the line hard.
SMOKIN ROMANS’ looked all over winner at Bendigo last start but was nabbed on the line. Started favourite there and he gets chance to go one better.
PERENNIAL did not have all that much luck when held-up at Pakenham last start. She has been placed in last couple since winning at Caulfield and a must for multiples.
Tip: OVER THE SKY
