CONSTRUCT has failed in 4 starts to date but they have all been in much better class than this. Might be worth forgiving his past few as he has trialled like a superstar in recent weeks. Keep very safe.
FAMOUS PEDRILLE carries a rather successful name around with him as all the Pedrille’s can run. And he was a solid 5th on debut. On his home track here and can improve. Watch him closely. Big show.
LUCKY SUN has been backed overnight. Was a great 2nd when resuming in this grade last start. Fitter now and looms large.
Tip: CONSTRUCT
COMPASSIONATE seems to be on the improve every run. After a fair 4th on debut in a similar race she ran on boldly for 2nd at Newcastle. Will appreciate this trip and Hughie rides.
FALSETTO is on home track for debut. And is very forward judging by her two trials, the last of which she won easily. Looks ready to run boldly.
MURA MURA resumes here but ran very well against top runners last campaign. Is trained here. Watch her closely. Big danger.
Tip: MURA MURA
SIXGUN will appreciate this. He is 3rd up after two solid runs, latest when 5th in a much, much stronger race. So on that score he has claims.
SKEDADDLE is on her home track and is unbeaten from just one start, an all the way win here. Up in class but has won two trials really easily recently. Might take catching. Watch market.
EMBELLER has had a lot of racing lately but is very fit and is quite honest. Certain to be thereabouts.
Tip: SKEDADDLE
Interesting race. This MY SWASHBUCKLER isn’t a superstar from abroad but he can stay a bit and drops in grade here. Was found wanting last start though when a plodding 11th but had won 2 starts prior.
JUNGLE BOOK is a smart stayer at this level and he won handsomely last start. Is 3rd up here. Plus is fitter and likes the trip better too.
POULTON LE SANDS is always a threat in this grade at this trip. Is 3rd up and no surprise to see him at huge odds run a bold race.
Tip: JUNGLE BOOK
REINVEST was a bit disappointing when resuming. Gave in without a yelp but to be fair it was over 1400m and he is better suited this trip. On home track now too. Will be on speed all the way. Is fit and at nice odds he should take running down.
NYAMI has taken time to find best form this prep but last start showed he was ready to walk into the winners enclosure when on pace all the way in this grade he boxed on gamely for the closest of 2nds. Â Looks the one here. Respect.
SPANISH POINT is better than his poor 2nd up 9th this grade last start when well back all the way. He races with vigour and consistency normally and should be right in the fray here.
Tip: NYAMIÂ
On his last two efforts ACCELERATO looks thrown in here. Won this grade in the mud then in a much tougher race came home hard to grab 5th. Sure to sit off the speed here and make a late charge.
GOLDFINCH resumed from a spell and went like a scaled cat to lead this same grade before weakening to 8th, but beaten only 5 lengths. Â And is fitter now. Must be in your numbers as she will lead them into the straight.
KAWAIKINI is honest and puts in every start. Is resuming here but tends to get back and run home hard late. Â Suited this trip and runs well enough fresh.
Tip: ACCELERATO
NIGHT OF POWER has the biggest weight in this and the worst draw. Is also resuming from a spell. Not normally good ingredients but also has the most talent. Watch betting.
MOLLYCODDLE won brilliantly when resuming in this grade then up in class but did nothing in the run home last start. Can improve.
Her stablemate TAMERLANE is talented this grade too and also won handsomely when resuming with a big weight in slightly weaker grade. Drawn well and looms large.
