CHAMPAGNE TASTES looked like she would benefit from the run on debut when faded final stages. Sure to be better from the race experience and she will be right in the mix.
MISHANI MONSIEUR found some trouble at first start but he still kept coming and figured in the placings. Drawn to get ideal run and he should get chance.
NEVER BEEN BETTER was placed in recent Doomben trial and from inside gate would expect him to be competitive at first start.
LOLA STAR did not flatter in only trial at Grafton but Steph Thornton jumps aboard and she can sneak into a minor spot.

Ipswich R2 – 3yo Maiden Plate 800m
WAY OF THE WORLD started odds on at Warwick on debut and he led them up for a long way before being claimed. Better from the outing and from ideal gate will be hard to catch.
EMMY REGINA chased home strongly when placed at Gatton first-up from spell. Fitter and from inside gate looks well placed.
GRACIEDE comes into this ready to find best form third-up from spell. Close when placed at Ipswich first-up then only faded late last start. She can sneak a place in this.
AUTUMN DAZE resumes from spell. She was placed in first two starts at first prep and although drawn in the car park cannot dismiss.

Ipswich R3 – Maiden Handicap 1200m
EMPRESS ZOU started favourite on debut and should have won. Stuck four wide the entire trip but still finished on to hold second spot. She can win this.
AMBITIOUS SPIRIT is overdue for maiden win having been placed in both career starts. No luck with the barrier draw but cannot leave out of winning chances.
ROMAN HEIR fought the race out strongly when placed at Gold Coast first-up from spell. Sure to be better from the outing and he will be in the mix.
HALLSIDE MARTINI is on debut. She looked strong winning her only trial and from ideal draw expect she will be competitive for a long way.

Ipswich R4 – BM65 Handicap 2180m
NEPTUNE’S CHOICE has been racing competitively in better races than he finds here. Needs touch of luck early from barrier draw but of finds position early can get away with this.
DEMURRAL won at Sunshine Coast last start. Drawn to get the perfect run in behind the speed and with some luck from the corner he will be right in the mix.
CHIEF COMMAND has been strong winning his last two starts. Finds tougher task but hard to knock winning form and can make it three straight.
NORTHERN WOODS is due for a win this campaign. Been placed in his last couple of starts and would not leave out of exotics again.

Ipswich R5 – Class 1 Plate 1690m
FLYBRIDGE came from well back when placed here first-up then he was not disgraced in a better race at Eagle Farm last start. Drawn to get the perfect sit and third-up can win this.
MANDEVILLE ROCKER was placed at Gold Coast two starts back then not beaten all that far on the heavy here last start. This looks nice race for him.
DUTCH DELIGHT chased home bravely here last start when placed. Drawn touch wide but she will show natural improvement and be right in this.
GIVEITALLALI finished too well and got the job done winning maiden at Doomben last start. Finds a tougher assignment but she may go on with it here.

ALDERMAN was beaten less than 2 lengths at Eagle Farm last start and from inside gate he should get the perfect run in transit and can get away with this.
PRINNY’S SUCCESS comes into this third-up from spell. He has chased home a couple of smart ones in both runs back and gets chance here.
DONANDKIM has won his last couple in impressive fashion. Has ideal barrier draw and no reason he cannot make it three in a row.
GLEN ORD won a better race at Doomben two starts back then forget last start at Eagle Farm when had a wide run. Barrier a concern but cannot leave him out.

Ipswich R7 – Class 2 Handicap 1350m
SMART STAR PRINCE won two in a row before starting favourite at Doomben last start but rider concerned with action. He can bounce back in this.
HARLEQUIN FIELD comes off solid last start Grafton win. Drawn to get the ideal run in behind the speed and he will be right in the mix.
TRENCH WARFARE resumes from spell. He comes off a dominant Ballina trial win and has a first-up win to his credit. Perfect barrier and cannot leave out.
DANISH FORTUNE was racing consistently before failing in town last start. Back in right race and he cannot be left out of exotics.

EXTREME JEWEL was placed here two starts back then went to Eagle Farm last start and did not finish race off well enough. Back in right race and she looks nice each way value.
MAXCALEMMA won his maiden at Doomben two starts back then beaten less than a length last start. Drawn touch wide but can measure up to these.
RIVER ROCKET was placed here two starts back then had no luck in town last start. If he can get a clearer run in transit will figure.
ZOU ZOU KACANARKIS comes into this third-up from spell. Placed on the heavy ground at Kilcoy last start and would not leave out of multiples.

JOY TOO ALL returned in dominant winning form here last start when much too good final stages. Drawn to get perfect run in transit and from ideal barrier can win again.
KING OF THE DESERT won with something in hand at Doomben two starts back then just did not finish race off well enough last outing. Can bounce back in this.
ALL TO DO relished the heavy ground and got the job done here last start. If he gets similar conditions expect him to be competitive.
FOR MY ANNIE won with something in hand at Toowoomba two starts back then found the step to town a little hot last start. Drawn ideally and he gets back in right race.
