Ipswich R1 – 2yo Handicap 1200m
Going with the race experience of RUSSIAN WARRIOR. She won her maiden at Gold Coast two starts back then was not far off at Doomben. Drawn ideally and can figure again.
Always an advantage to draw the rail on debut and CAPITEEL has the ideal draw here. Showed enough in recent trial and must include in winning chances.
ZASCEED is nicely bred colt on debut. Not asked to do all that much in his Gold Coast trial. Would keep close eye on betting market for this colt.

Ipswich R2 – Maiden Plate 1690m
VIRTUOSITY gets her chance for a well-deserved maiden win. Two solid placings leading into this and although awkwardly drawn am happy to put on top.
DREAMING JEANIE is close to breaking her maiden status with three competitive efforts this campaign. Will need some luck from awkward gate but should got close.
PUSHKIN was placed on heavy ground first-up then battled on well when beaten favourite here last start. Another that will need some luck from wide gate.

Ipswich R3 – Open Handicap 1350m
BOLD WARRIOR powered away and won with something in hand at Gold Coast first-up from spell. Drawn to drive through and sit in first couple and he can win again.
RED CHASE ran on strongly when placed in the Listed Recognition two starts back before tiring badly last start. Back in winnable race here.
EXCLUSIVE fought the race out strongly when beaten less than 2 lengths at Doomben first-up. Fitter from the outing and he can figure.
GOODONYA SONJA comes into this ready third-up from spell. She has just battled in both runs back but can sneak into a minor spot in this field.

Ipswich R4 – Maiden Handicap 1200m
HURIWAI started long odds on favourite here last start but he chased home soundly and could only run into a minor spot. Fitter and he can bounce back in this.
MILIARENSE was making good late ground when ran into second spot at Sunshine Coast on debut. She will be better from the experience and can go one better.
ARGYLE PINK only just missed at Doomben last start. Drawn to get the perfect run in transit and she will get her chance at some stage in the straight.

Ipswich R5 – Maiden Handicap 1200m
STAR GAMBLE resumes from spell. Chased home soundly when placed at Doomben before break. Trial will have him ready for this and he can win.
MORE TO ADORE resumes from spell. He has been well held in both career starts but this not a difficult affair and cannot leave out of chances.
SO FIRED UP is a nicely bred gelding on debut. Did not flatter in his only trial at Doomben but from astute stable and if any money about would consider.
AMPHAWA resumes from spell. He showed early speed on debut at Eagle Farm but just did not finish race off well enough and went for break. Expect he will have improved.

Ipswich R6 – Rating 0-65 Handicap 1200m
FIRST CROWN arguably should have won first-up at Doomben after being hampered early he still ran into second spot. Fitter and can go one better.
BELLA ROYALE battled on well when held minor spot here last start. Drawn to get the perfect run in transit and she will be in the mix again.
HODGSON resumes from spell. Won maiden with something in hand at Gold Coast two starts back. Won recent trial with ease and he must be respected fresh.
MAGNITUDO has won two of his last three starts. Showed good speed to drive through and lead these and he will take some catching again.

Ipswich R7 – BM65 Handicap 1690m
EDINBURGH finished the race off strongly and only just missed at Doomben last start. Drawn to get the perfect run in transit and she can go one better.
WINTER RAIN has not been beaten all that far in recent starts. Placed in small field at Sunshine Coast last start and that good form for this.
VALLEY OF DREAMS was beaten less than 2 lengths at Doomben last start despite wide run. Drawn to get much better outing here and she will go close.
MR SO AND SO placed at Sunshine Coast two starts back then went to Doomben last start and was not disgraced. This not a difficult affair.

Ipswich R8 – BM68 Handicap 1350m
CAPRI OF TUFFY has been impressive winning her last couple. This does not look all that much harder and she can make it three in a row.
VITESSE FRANCAIS resumes. Showed plenty of ability at first prep and his recent trial win will have him ready for this. Must respect first-up.
IN GREAT NIC looks ready to return to winners stall. Two solid placings leading into this and from ideal barrier draw she can get away with this.
The run of CAMP RIFLE was better than finishing position suggests last start when not beaten all that far. He is racing well enough to be right in this.

Ipswich R9 – Class 1 Handicap 1350m
KING’S CONTRACT relished the heavy ground and was dominant here winning his maiden last start. If he gets any rain his chances will be enhanced.
CHICAMO was placed here first-up from spell then never traveled in the heavy ground last start. Third-up and back on firmer ground will be ideal.
SHE’S AN EAGLE battled on well enough here first-up from spell. Sure to strip fitter and can figure but barrier is a concern.
