Doomben R1 – 2yo Handicap 1110m
FLORAL OASIS just got out too late on debut but still chased home behind a smart one. Better from the outing and she can get away with this.
BATTLEDANCE started favourite on debut and he battled on well enough to finish just behind placings. Will improve from the experience and would not leave out.
SAWEETIE created a big impression winning her Eagle Farm trial with something in hand. Expect some support at first start.
HEROIC SON raced on the speed and just proved too strong winning here on debut. No reason he cannot make it two in a row.

Doomben R2 – BM80 Handicap 2000m
YOUNGBLOOD won two in a row before solid placing at Eagle Farm last start. Only needs to hold that form to be right in the mix.
SOUTHERN ROCK was placed in the same Eagle Farm race that Youngblood came out of last start. He gets chance to go one better in similar race.
HOSTAGE OF WAR looks the likely speed and if they leave him alone up front he is sure to take some catching from the corner.
Tip: YOUNGBLOOD
Doomben R3 – Class 6 Handicap 1600m
SO TAKEN has been racing in consistent form and not far off a win. Will not get a better chance that this. Must include in major chances.
KUBRICK finally got the money here last start after finishing close up in previous start. Now he has broken through he can go on with it here.
GREEN JACKET should have finished much closer last start after being held up at vital stage. Won previous start and can figure again.
REBEL SALUTE won four starts back then has been placed in next three starts. Chance to return to winners stall.
Tip: SO TAKEN
Doomben R4 – BM72 Handicap 1600m
NEUTRON jumped to the front and led all the way here two starts back then forget last start when he was never on the track at any stage. He can bounce back.
SIENNA’S CHOICE just missed in driving finish at Eagle Farm last start. Makes her own luck rolling forward and she takes catching.
THE DARK finished too well and got the job done at Eagle Farm last outing. Finds similar race and no reason will not be in the mix again.
SCOTTISH MIST charged home late for eye catching placing here last start. Looks to be returning to her best and that would be good enough to be competitive in this.
Tip: NEUTRON
PUNTONTHEREDLIGHT got her maiden out of the way at Sunshine Coast two starts back then just found one better here last start. She gets chance to return to winners stall.
WARDADDY started long odds on first-up but just found one better. Strips fitter from the outing and gets chance to go one better.
ARENTEE started odds on favourite at Sunshine Coast on debut but was nabbed final stages. Better from the race experience and he must be included in chances.
ME ME LAGARDE won her maiden on debut then beaten less than a length in Listed company before going for a break. Looks smart and she can win this.

Doomben R6 – BM80 Handicap 1050m
ELOQUENTLY resumes from spell. She won six in a row before going for a spell. Won trial with something in hand at Toowoomba leading into this and looks ready for first-up tilt.
LYRICAL GIRL returned to her best form when got the money here last start. She rarely runs a bad race and no reason she cannot make it two in a row.
BLACK MAGNUM looked like he needed the run when just did not finish the race off well enough first-up from spell. Sure to strip fitter and he has the talent to get away with this.
ONE STRYKE just missed at Gold Coast two starts back then he battled on well enough when just out of placings. He can sneak a minor spot in this.

Doomben R7 – BM72 Handicap 1200m
SALATEEN was dominant winning here first-up from spell then she has been close up when placed in two runs since. She gets her chance to return to winners stall.
KNIGSCOTE should roll forward and lead these. Only run down last 100m at Eagle Farm last start and if they leave him alone he is sure to take catching.
THE BIG GOODBYE finished too well for a well deserved win at Eagle Farm last start. He had been placed in three Queensland start previously and he can go on and win again.
BAD BARISTA resumes from spell. Usually finds form early in her preps and recent Toowoomba trial win was dominant. Must consider.
Tip: SALATEEN
I am going with the crowd favourite THE HARROVIAN to make a triumphant return to racing in Queensland. Solid recent Gold Coast trial and he can win this.
WISDOM OF WATER was poor in three Melbourne runs this prep when just did not measure up, Comes to Queensland and if he can find his best form would be right in the mix.
BALLER won both his starts last time in work including Group 2 Moreton Cup. Two trials leading into this and he will make presence felt.
NICCANOVA is very hard to catch and can mix his form but he has plenty of ability and if he can produce best fresh may surprise these.
Tip: THE HARROVIAN
Doomben R9 – BM85 Handicap 1350m
INDISPENSABLE resumes from spell. He looks the likely speed and if he can control this race throughout will take catching.
BARNEY’S LAW was back to best when gave nothing else a chance from out the front at Eagle Farm. Usually makes his own luck sitting in first couple and would not leave out.
DZSENIFER resumes. Started favourite here before break and finished too well for good tough win. Races well fresh and would not leave out of chances.
ACADEMY comes to Queensland off some consistent Sydney form. This looks a winnable race and he must be included in multiples.
