ORIENTAL LEGEND was $6 into $4.40 on debut at Ballarat and just missed on driving finish. Sure to be better from the race experience and he can go one better.

SCHUHBECK just left run a stride too late at Benalla first-up from spell. Model of consistency last time in work and don’t expect he will be maiden for much longer.

PSYCHO STAR chased home hard when ran into late placing at Warrnambool. Drawn to get perfect run and can sneak a place.

REGAL RAVE was beaten less than 2 lengths at Ballarat last start and if he can hold that form he can feature in the exotics again.

FORBES was good at Caulfield first-up in strong race then he was disappointing down the Flemington straight in Group 2 company. Back in maiden class third-up a winning move.

APSARA chased home bravely in the wet conditions here first-up and only just missed. Will be better from that outing and ideal barrier puts her right in this.

SPIRIT OF PEPIN looks close to breaking his maiden status. Placed in first two starts this track then forget last start in town when never tested. He can figure.

CORSUCAN is the big watch on debut from the Danny O’Brien stable and if any support would include in better chances.

BRENLYN’S TROOPER ran on strongly and only just missed in Listed company at Flemington before break. He is unbeaten in both first-up tries and expect him to win again.

THE BILLIONAIRE comes off a dominant win at Morphettville last start. Comes back across the border third-up from spell and he can measure up to these.

SOUTH PARADE resumes from spell. He was most consistent last time in work and placed when fresh last prep. Drawn to get ideal run and he will be in finish.

HUMZZ has not flattered in his two runs back from spell but he is better than that and third-up from spell he can sneak into a minor spot.

TRAMONTANA won his maiden on the synthetic three starts back then followed up with a couple of smart placings one of them at Flemington. Back in winnable race.

EURO DANDY finished too well to win maiden at Geelong first-up from spell. Just found the step up to Listed company a little too hot at Flemington last start. Back in right race.

BROOKLYN BOSS came from well off them winning at Ballarat on debut. Drawn to get the perfect run in transit and he can make it two in a row.

JIMMY THE BEAR was little green at Mildura on debut but he still sprinted impressively for soft win. Looks smart and he will be in the finish again.

OSAKA resumes from spell. Former Kiwi with an impressive first-up record (4:3-1-0) and he was a winner in New Zealand first-up last time in work. He can win this.

KISSINGER is first-up. He has a win on his resume’ and pay to forget only start when last in work as had throat issues. Drawn perfectly and expect he will be right in the mix.

RUBY STREET won at Flemington first-up then found the class in a couple of Group 2 races a bit too hot of late. Back in right class and cannot leave out.

VUNGERS resumes from spell. He has been placed in three of seven first-up tries. Will be better over bit further but expect him to run cheeky race fresh.

ARROANCE just missed in driving finish on the heavy ground at Moe first-up. Sure to be better from the run and despite wide gate can see her winning this.

EL SALTO comes into this in winning form. He has won his last two starts at Echuca and although this little tougher cannot leave him out of winning chances.

JOLTIN’ JOE battled away well enough on the heavy ground last start. His previous form had been consistent and if he gets a firmer track will be competitive.

KIATA was beaten less than 2 lengths at Echuca first-up from spell. She will be much better from that outing and expect her to go close.

TOORADIN just did a bit too much work in the Herbert Power last start and just battled from the corner. Won two straight previously and he gets chance to return to winners stall.

WENTWOOD was outstanding in the Coongy Cup when just missed being beaten by Duais. Comes into this primed third-up from spell and he can win this.

AMADE really caught the eye with his finish in the Geelong Cup last start when just finished out of placings. Looks ready to find best and cannot leave out of exotics.

SMOKIN’ ROMANS steps into his hardest test but he is racing in super form. Won three in a row before Caulfield placing last start. Drawn ideally and he can measure up.

TRODAIRE was dominant winning at Wangaratta three starts back then been placed in two runs since. Racing well and with Oliver aboard looks well placed.

ROUSSEAU looked like he would benefit from his run when well held first-up. Drawn touch wide but he strips fitter and would expect improvement.

CONVICT SAM resumes from spell. Raced competitively last time in work and got his maiden out of the way at Donald. Cannot leave out fresh.

MARSANNAY started favourite at Cranbourne first-up but he was just a little flat from the corner. Will be better from the outing and has won second-up.

MAYBE THE BEST looks ready to win. Two solid placings leading into this and although drawn wide he goes on top.

OUR LONE STAR resumes from a spell. Yet to be placed in two first-up tries but he comes off sold Tatura trial win and would not leave out of chances.

VOLCANIC ROCK is another fresh from a break. Placed at Rosehill when first-up last time in work and from ideal barrier would not leave out.

CONDO’S EXPRESS was placed at Echuca two starts back then just got too far back in town last start. Back in right race and cannot leave out of exotics.
