ASTRAPE resumes from spell. She has been placed in both first-up tries and raced consistently last campaign. This looks winnable race first-up.
SPARKLING BLUE is another fresh from spell. Started favourite on debut at Belmont and won with something in hand. May find best form when first-up.
STAR SOPRANO has been staring at the trials of late having last couple at Belmont. He has not shown much in either start but bashed on trials he must be included.
REBELZONE won maiden on debut at Kalgoorlie then was not beaten all that far here last start. This not a difficult affair and would not leave out of exotics.
Tip: ASTRAPE
Ascot R2 – Maiden Plate 1200m
SERVICEMAN has been threatening to win his maiden coming off two solid Northam placings. He gets his chance to break maiden tag in this
ROMMEL’S WAR stuck to his task and held placing at Northam last. Comes into this third-up from spell and although drawn little awkwardly she has place claims.

Ascot R3 – Class 3 Handicap 1600m
DATALKA got the job done winning at York two starts back then followed up with a Northam placing last start. Drawn to get the perfect run and he will be juicy each way odds.
GOLDEN BONNEY should have finished closer here last start when held-up back on the fence. Drawn ideally and she will get her chance from the corner.
KENTUCKY BLUE got his maiden out of the way here last start. Now he has broken through he can go on and win again.
Tip: DATALKA

HUMAN NATURE has be threatening to win this prep coming off two solid Geraldton placings. Third-up from spell he looks ready to win.
MANTELLI has not been beaten all that far in two runs back from spell and third-up he looks a major player. Must include in major chances.
BEDOUIN BELLE was a well-deserved winner at Northam two back then was not all that far away at Belmont. If she produces best form she can win this.
CROSS STATEMENT led them up here first-up from spell and only run down late. Fitter from that outing and expect him to be up front for a long way.
Tip: HUMAN NATURE
Ascot R5 – No Metro Wins Handicap 1100m
Forget finishing position of KATONA last start when he was badly held-up at vital stages and should have finished much closer than he did. .
AGENT KENSINGTON got fraction too far back last start but did work home late. She has been racing in super form prior to that run and can bounce back.
CRYPTO QUEEN resumes from spell. Her only win came when fresh and she will go forward and take some catching from the turn.
GO FORWARD just did not finish the race off well enough to win last start but he did stick on and held minor placing. Would include him in exotics again.
Tip: KATONA
Ascot R6 – Class 3 Handicap 1400m
Like ARCADIA GRACE getting out to the 1400m. She took on Listed company last start but did not measure up. Back in much easier race and can win this.
FLICKAS CHANCE won first two this prep then got going late when placed as favourite here last start. He gets his chance to return back to winners stall.
CHICLETT resumes from spell. She won fresh when last in work and usually finds form early in campaign. Must respect based on that stat alone.
WAKAN TANKA was placed at Northam two starts back then battled on well last start. If he holds that form he can sneak into a minor spot.
Tip: ARCADIA GRACE
16:00 (local time)
MRS AMERICA won with ease at Northam on debut then started odds on and was poor last start. Prepared to forget one bad run and she can win this.
MAGNIFICENT ANDY was well supported on debut at Northam and did not let punters down finishing too well. Will only be better from the race experience and can win again.
PATCHWORK started favourite on debut and she finished too well for good strong win. Drawn to get the perfect sit and will get chance in straight.
PORT BEACH did it tough at Northam last start and did well to finish so close. If she gets a better run here she could be the knockout.
Tip: MRS AMERICA
Ascot R8 – Class 1 Handicap 1800m
ENGLISH BAY led throughout to win at Geraldton last start and although this harder she may get soft lead and prove hard to beat.
MONG KHON has been racing in consistent form this prep but finding it hard to win. He will not get a better chance to win than this.
VANMAN looked in need of the run when just did not finish race off first-up. Will be better from the outing and can improve.
THE ROAN RANGER made steady ground final stages first-up from spell and sure to better out to this trip. Despite awkward barrier draw would not leave out of exotics.
Tip: ENGLISH BAY
Ascot R9 – Burgess Queen Stakes (Listed) 1400m
TREASURED STAR is a quality filly who is moving through her classes with authority this prep and she can make it three in a row. Top chance.
HARDLY EVER came from well off them to win at Belmont on debut then just missed here last start. She steps up to a much stronger task but think she is up to it.
BUZZOOM has been racing in super form winning last couple this track. Hard race but hard to knock winning form and she must be include in major chances.
SEARCHIN’ ROC’S finished too well to win in Listed company first-up from spell and she can go on with it here.
Tip: TREASURED STAR
Ascot R10 – Class 3 Handicap 1200m
Liked the way MERCANTO attacked the line to win first-up from spell. He will be much better from the outing and can make it two in a row this campaign.

TREVERN has returned to racing in super form having won his two starts this time in with authority. Drawn ideally and can make it three in a row.
Forget that SAFETY BAY went around last start when she had no luck when always wide. She had won two starts prior and a must for first four players.
