Lots of intrigue in this race. We have two stand out fillies who are drawn near each other so will eyeball one another from gate rise. They are EVA DANIELA representing the Kris Lees yard and SEMINARA for trainer Cody Morgan. In five recent runs, neither of them have won, but neither has missed a place in this grade each other. So they should dash away once turned for home and fight it out. Hmmm, looks a great quinella bet. Both should receive tremendous runs throughout the race too with Eva likely too settle back in about 5th with Seminara on her inside in 4th. Eva gets the nod for mine down the running.
Tip: EVA DANIELA
This is going to be a fast run race. I really think ECKER ROAD at big odds will run a good race but I do suspect UPSIDE gets the chocolates here. She is in great form and being by Sidestep she will relish the soft ground. After winning this grade following a month freshener, she stepped up to BM 88 grade and was beaten just 4 lengths. That form is good enough to double these and she only goes up 2.5kg yet comes back a long way in class. Quinella them.
Tip: UPSIDE
A good few recent winners in this but I like LIGHTFAST. He won a strong maiden with authority last start and has drawn perfectly here. Up in class but appears to be improving every start. Should sit up in about 3rd to the bend and his pedigree (by Dundeel) should kick in and he draws clear from LADY SUPERSPY who is resuming from a. spell here.
