Muswellbrook R1 Â Mdn Hcp 900m Â
The prospect of a Soft track can only help this lightly raced Allan Denham trained 3YO TUPELAWARA in this. He resumed from a spell hand has had 2 trials recently placing in both, and he is by Deep Field. The progeny of that stallion love it damp. I suspect he pings the lids and drives to the lead, rolls off about 4-wide as they turn and defies them down to the line. His only start today was a disaster as he went hard early over 1106m at Grafton and weekend badly in the run home. More mature now and the shorter trip suits. OAKFIELD BLOSSOM can battle away for 2nd.

Muswellbrook R3 – Cl 1 Hcp 1450mÂ
I am kinda looking forward to this race because we see new form lines. KING AND KING has been racing in South Australia and showing good ability at this level… but over longer trips. He has transferred to Annabel Neasham’s yard, so is a stablemate of Zaaki, and he comes here with two trial runs under his belt. Will probably ease back a bit and be in about 5th spot on the fence to the bend then I’m expecting his residual fitness and freshness in his legs will kick in and he flashes home.

Muswellbrook R7 – Cl 1 Hcp 1000m Â
Lots of people have been waiting for the return of this filly TIDAL IMPACT. She had a huge boom on her when she raced last prep, winning her first race start by 10 lengths at Coonamble, then stepped straight up to Listed class and after missing the kick showed nothing. Hasn’t raced for 5 months but I suspect she goes bang from this outside gate, crosses them and wins comfortably.
